We are a mixed animal practice in Camrose, Alberta that has been taking care of our clients animals since 1976. Our goal is to provide high quality, compassionate animal care throughout the life of your animal with an emphasis on client education.

We would like to thank Dr. Nicole for taking such good care of our loving cat Timmy in his last few days of his short life... we can’t thank you enough for your loving care and hard work trying get him healthy again. He is deeply missed by our family.
We were evacuated from Fort McMurray separately from our two dogs. It took several days to locate them, and while they were very well cared for at the Lac La Biche Bold Centre, we noticed that they were having some respiratory problems. I called the Camrose Veterinary Hospital and they fit us in right away. Both dogs were examined, medications and food provided and almost all fees were waived. Amazing, friendly and generous. Thank you so much for your kindness.

We have been taking our fur babies to Dr.Jamie Whiting since we moved to Camrose in 2007. We have a few.
On December 23 we had to say goodbye to our beloved boy Dusty. He was 15 years and 1 day old. Although they were closed for Christmas holidays Dr.Whiting talked to me and helped us make this very difficult decision. He was so kind and compassionate giving us all the time we needed.
Today we went to pick up Dusty’s urn and inside was a beautiful print of Dusty’s paw along with a touching sympathy card.
Dr.Whiting and all of the staff at the Camrose Veterinary Hospital are extraordinary people. They go above and beyond their duties.
You will never know how much we appreciate you and how thankful we are for all of you!
We have always received exceptional service with even better care for our dog. Dr.Rasmussen is fantastic with my skittish dog he is always genuinely concerned for my dogs well being. The front desk staff also know us by name such a wonderful place.
They treat my fur baby very well! Informative,friendly and just great staff!

Only vet who would answer my after hour emergency!!! And iv never even been there before and they accepted us and saved my dogs life!!!! And for that im greatful! Thank you
My pup is anxious around new people and the doctor, Marrissa, was patient and wonderful with her. Thank you sooo much for looking after my baby and not making me feel I've done something wrong.
I cannot say enough good things about Camrose Veterinary Hospital! Dr.Whiting not only fit me in on short notice but also took the time to explain everything in depth to reassure me that my dog would be okay and we would get to the bottom of the issue & fix it. I can not thank this vet enough. This clinic has done so many things for us. They have always been so knowledgeable and helped understand thoroughly of every procedure we’ve gotten done. They’re so friendly and loving! They always call us after the surgeries to see how the pets are! And they always remember us when we come back �. We’ve seen Jaime and Melissa and we couldn’t ask for a better vet �.

Excellent veterinary care! Dr. Rasmussen was very thorough, kind and knowledgeable when I took my Boston Terrier in and the girls at the front desk were very helpful! Highly recommend Camrose Veterinary Hospital!
Doctor Marisa, and Brenda ( and all the other staff) have shown us so much kindness and compassion during and after Molly's sudden illness, ending in her death. They took the time to stop and ask how we were doing and what they could do to help!!! They actually care. Thank you soo much for that. My pets will go no where else!!
CVH is an amazing clinic! The staff are kind and very compassionate to all the animals and owners they see! We will only take our pets to them!! :)
Best place to take your animal. I took my cat here to get neutered and the care they gave him over the 24 hours he spent there was fantastic. The staff are very friendly and understand that an animal is family and they treat them as such. I will never take my animals to another vet other than the Camrose vet hospital.
Best place ever! They never forget my dogs name, the care is wonderful and they are really great with scheduling!
A very heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Camrose Veterinary Hospital for helping us through the tragic loss of our sweet one year old puppy Ava. Our hearts are hurting so immensely, and the staff has been compassionate, gentle, understanding and kind. Our little family is hurting a lot right now, but we want to thank specifically Nicole who treated our girl. We wholeheartedly recommend the Camrose Veterinary Hospital to anyone with a special animal in their lives. We are so thankful for the care that she received throughout her young life, and for the love shown to our family during this difficult time. Thank you.
