Camrose Women's Shelter Society (CWSS) is a non-profit, 22 bed facility that provides safe, emergency shelter for women and children who are fleeing family violence, or who are homeless due to crisis situations. With a commitment to providing a safe place and services for individuals and families affected by violence and abuse, its mission supports its priority and vision: Communities where all people are free from violence and abuse. CWSS provides residential services as well as comprehensive outreach and family support programs. All CWSS services are free and confidential. You do not have to stay in the shelter to receive services. CWSS is a non-denominational organization, dedicated to supporting individuals of all ethnicities, sexual orientations, and gender identities. CWSS is a registered charitable organization that accepts donations in the form of cash, cheque, VISA, Mastercard, and e-transfer. Please visit camrosewomenshelter.org to donate. Crisis Intervention Workers are available to provide support, safety planning, advocacy, and referrals.
