During the entire month of August, donate your reusable clothing and household items at participating Curves locations across Canada to help lead the fight to end diabetes!

These donations will help send more than 2,400 children and youth with type 1 diabetes to D-Camps, summer and family camps offered across Canada where kids meet and are inspired by each other to manage their diabetes well in a medically superv...ised setting.
Donations will also help fund world-leading Canadian research in the development of new treatments, devices, and ways to prevent type 2 diabetes and search for a cure.
Check your cupboards and closets—and tell your friends and family too!

The Calgary Clothesline is happy to announce our 2nd Annual Curves Clothesline for Diabetes Initiative event. The event is a national clothing drive taking place for the entire month of August hosted by Curve locations in and around Calgary. The goal is to raise as much money as possible to fight diabetes. Last year’s drive collected over 60,000 pounds of donated clothing and other household items. With your help we are hoping to have an even bigger success this year. How can... you get involved? You can donate used clothing, participate in contests, attend diabetes information nights, and much more. For the whole month of August new members who are thinking of joining Curves can join for FREE in exchange for a bag of donated clothing or make a $30 donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Call your Curves location to see if they are participating! If you have any additional questions about the event please contact us at (403) 509-0070, at www.diabetes.ca/clothesline and don’t forget to join the Curves Clothesline Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/CurvesClo thesline.
