Canadian Pawnbrokers Association

The Canadian Pawn Association represents the voice of independent Canadian pawnbrokers. We advocate for our members on both national and provincial levels. Our goal is to foster a robust, professional, and ethical industry for pawnbrokers and the many Canadians who rely on their services. These clients have been abandoned by traditional banking models and pawnbrokers provide them with much needed financial stability. Experience has shown that politicians, lawmakers, and media typically do not have experience with pawn shops or their vital niche in the economy. The C. P. A. represents an important link for media and policy makers to learn about our industry. As a non-profit trade association, the CPA relies on financial support from members and Industry Partners. This financial support ensures that we can continue to support the needs of pawnbrokers, their businesses and their families.
