Conveniently located with plenty of parking. Good warranty on house brand products. Friendly staff but not very knowledgeable. Large clean location. Oil change coupons are worthless as $19.99 offer ends up $41 & 2 hours wait with appointment.

Used to be almost regular customer till today.
When I bought the auto color yesterday and proceed to check out and asked the lady if it didn’t match my color is it ok to returned and replayed of course .
Returned today with new paint didn’t used it at all and two ladies at customer service said can’t return it because it’s auto item and kept checking the item although I assured more than once I didn’t used it.
I’ll never ever shop again from Canadian tire.

I was at the store in Country Hill (store number 496) trying to return a leaf blower that I purchased from another location outside of Calgary while away on work. The customer service rep Cathy was helpful but when she called the general manager On duty Kevin things escalated. He was incredibly rude. He explained that the product that we purchased yesterday was discontinued and that he would not allow us to exchange it at this store. No where on the receipt does it say that returns are only accepted at the store you purchased item. This is misleading information to customers. The manager said we could call the main office to talk to them about the issue. He made us stand out of the line to make the call - it was a Sunday and the office was closed. We told Kevin we could not get a hold of the office and he knew we wouldn't be able to get a hold of anyone to help us since the office was closed. Is this the type of customer service that Canadian tire offers? Incredibly rude be a waste of our time to knowingly ask us to call the head office which he knew was closed. Then I asked him to check which stores have inventory.... this manager had no desire to check or call any of the stores in the area and simply told us to drive all the way back to Strathmore if we wanted this product refunded. This manager was completely unwilling to help us sort this issue out and treated myself and my husband so rudely I will never step foot in another store. We would like an apology from this manage and the country hills store for how they treated us. This was simply horrible treatment of customers.

Very good store. I always find what I need. The only problem is when you need some assistance. That could take a while.

I ordered a jack online and went to pick it up. Easy enough right? They had me waiting 30 minutes before it was ready. I literally saw some of the same jacks I ordered in an aisle while browsing the store. They could have just went and picked up one from there and removed it from inventory. Should have taken 10 minutes at most.

Dishonest auto service. Got 4 new tires and they are fine, changed quickly at my request (just over 1 hr). However, the service department left a message in my phone stating that "my breaks are really bad, almost metal on metal". I'm not a mechanic, but I can take a tire off and look at the pads. There is 3mm of pad left and the wear groove is still visible. My understanding is that they should be replaced at 2.5mm or when the wear groove is no longer visible. My breaks should be replaced soon, but they are far from critical. They also recommended new rotors (130k on the car). If they advised or recommended me to change the breaks this month I would actually have said 5/5, but dishonesty is intolerable.

Amazing customer service at the COUNTRY HILLS location. I went to another Canadian tire for something that was off season but available online and was told I'm out of luck and too bad for me. Called the country hills location and was able to come in and pick up the item same day in less than 25 min. Incredible team and thanks again!!!

I brought my minivan to Canadian Tire Country Hills to get my front passenger tire patched because it had a slow leak. I noticed a screw punctured the tire. I did not notice on their invoice that they fixed the front driver's side and not the one I authorized them to do. I had no issues with the front driver's side tire. I didn't know about this until I brought my minivan back yesterday to complain about the leak and I found out that they didn't fix the front passenger tire. They told me that they fixed the one on the driver's side.
So disappointed that they didn't fix the problem which is the reason why I brought my vehicle there. I use their service for my 3 vehicles and referred them to my friends. But after the recent disappointing service, I will never go back there again and I will tell all my friends about it.

Today, I went to this location to purchase a wading pool. Marlborough being closer but having a terrible customer service, I decided to go a bit further. I'm with my wife and 26 month old boy. So we find where the wading pools are and we pick the nice one priced at 14.93$. We get to the cashier and it scans at 29.99$. Me being familiar with the scanning code of conduct, I tell the cashier. She calls Kevin(I will keep what I think of him to myself) the duty manager. He basically said that I could get the item for 14.93$. I tell him that he has to give it to me for the lowest price minus 10$. He argues with me that he needs to check with the store manager who is on lunch break. So I wait 25 minutes with my wife and baby for Gary to come back from lunch. He finally gets here and again, I need to argue with him. He finally admitted, after basically harassing me into trying to get me to abandon my cause. Guess what, that ain't happening. In the end, he give the wading pool for 4.93$ as Kevin should've done 30 minutes ago. You need to properly train low lives like Kevin to respect customers. I am expecting a reply from the department of scanning code of conduct next week because I called and I will file a official complaint. So to resume what I have in my mind, you suck Kevin. And Gary Oates, considering how polite I was with you when I met you and how you treated me afterwards, you suck too.

Dishonest. Don't come here for an out of province inspection unless you want to get bilked. Hey Canadian Tire, low prices are only a competitive advantage if you're not making things up...

Wow if you want anything done in a timely matter dont come here. For real it took them a hour to bring my car into the shop and we are pushing 45 mins in the shop. This is all for a simple tire plug. Standing here listening to the staff talking to customers sounds like no one knows whats going on and just telling anyone a hour wait. Oh its a hour l, oh a hour longest. Blah to this place. It was my first visit to your location 9:45 Feb 14 - I stood at the front looking for help - a staff member walked by without acknowledging me. I am used to going to Airdrie where they have a host that asks you what you need. I finally found what I wanted - an small scoop for fireplace ashes - I passed several other staff none of whom talked to me or made me welcome. When I got to the cash out I found no one at any of the tills but a staff member guieded me thru the automatic check out - I did not care for the experience. The whole store was impersonal and unwelcoming. I will be going to Airdrie from now on - they have friendly and helpful staff and chatty cashier not machines.

My recent exp.. the best , sales rep (MARC) is very knowledgeable. He takes a great interest in all the products, there information... I like Canadian Tire.. and now... I love shopping here... an interested, knowledgeable helpful sales rep... makes a world of difference when we are spending our money and getting the best service, products and quality ....
