Had a brake noise Got a brake inspection and was told I needed $1,200 worth of work. Thought this was extremely pricey so went to Another garage who told me I only needed half the work quoted by Canadian tire! Never going back

Don’t go near automotive, lined up for 20 minutes and the “automotive service advisor” was clueless about automotive parts. Finally found the part I needed after asking 3 other staff members. Said there was 3 in stock then went looked for the part came back 20 minutes later saying none in stock... what a waste of an hour! Went to Napa had the part in 5minutes

So we hit a curb and popped the side wall of our tire on a Sunday so we had slim pickings of where to go. Luckily Canadian tire was open and Rob was working. He went above and beyond what he had to do to get us back on the road again. If you're ever in an emergency with your car I would 110% recommend this candian tire location.

Regular Customer. I frequent this location. If you're not familiar with CTC; here's a few quick pointers. Most employees are part-time with no motivation. Good Managers are hard to find. If they're truly dedicated? They're working somewhere else, getting paid more. The good ones at this location should be treasured by upper management. Auto Service here has recently taken a 180 with a manager that actually gives a damn. Her team is somewhat crackpot, but what do you expect for minimum wage (or damn close to it). Especially in a town that you can't find a room for cheaper than $1200. That's a single paycheck for most of these employees. Regardless, if your a prissy Benz or BMW owner? Go take your car somewhere else. If you're a know-it-all with not much time ("I could've done this myself, in half the time") there's the door. If you're a patient person who just needs a bit of help; you'll find somebody around here to do just that. Trust me other locations are bare bones with no staff to be seen for miles. Not saying you won't end up with a few grease smudges on your steering wheel. But, just think how motivated you would be for minimum wage. Get the picture?

Was traveling through and desperately needed 2 tires for my 4x4 to get home. Told me that being a 4x4 I would have to purchase 4 and they had them in stock. Canadian Tire policy. When I revealed that I had previously worked as a Service Manager at a different CT store and had worked over 40 years in the automotive service business and never heard of such a policy , the Service Manager said there was nothing they could do for me and suggested I go to Cochrane Canadian Tire , which was back 40 km the way I had come and see if they could help me. Called OK tire and Canmore Chrysler , neither had the tires I was wanting, but both could order them in and install the 2 with no problem the next day if I wanted. Canmore Chrysler even suggested I buy the 2 at Canadian tire and they would install them that afternoon. Ended up at Canmore Chrysler and bought just one tire of a different type, I wouldn't give Canadian Tire any business at that point. So drove home with one new tire , two old tires and the manufacturer's supplied space saver spare. That policy of having to have four matching tires is a good practice but not necessary to pass a provincial safety in Alberta or B.C. It will do no harm to the drive train unless the truck is constantly in the AWD mode on dry pavement which has potential to damage the transfer case. I am so totally disgusted in the way I was treated by both the store and the corporation (they took 10 days to reply to my email when their policy is to answer every complaint within 24 hrs) that I'm going to have a hard time to even step into another Canadian Tire store ever again. All I was looking for was some empathy and an apology.

High prices, BUT check the clearance racks!! Great sales hiding all over the store! I got some great kitchen/camping cookwear for half price! Great selection all around the store. They also had the bear spray I wanted.

I had the Sports Supervisor served me and was so impressed with his service. He brought my item to the service area and after I cashed out, he offered to do a carry out. Highly recommend

Total rip off. I was on a cross Canada trip towing a trailer when I developed a noise in one of my brakes. Went to the Canmore CT to have it inspected. They removed all four wheels and told me I needed $1100 worth of brake work. They tried to scare me by telling me that it would be extremely dangerous to drive in the mountains in this condition. I had previously had the brakes inspected by a Ford dealer before I left and was assured everything was OK. I did not proceed with the work and went to the Ford dealer down the road for a second opinion. I was told by the Ford dealer that the inspection revealed no issues with the brakes. Later in the trip a 3rd inspection by a Ford dealer revealed no problems with the brakes.
