Small things make a huge difference. Both times I had my flats fixed there. Last time they replaced an old patch while fixing my other puncture. Today went and was having trouble getting my wiper I bought installed ( snow blowing in my face and still dark out) and they had me in and out in 10 mins. The tire guy (Johnny?) Is awesome. He's done my tires both times and took care of installing my wiper right quick. It's small stuff this that doesn't seem important but it is and I appreciate them for getting me on the road fast. Thanks!!

I was just reading the posts about this canadain tire its funny how people always putting shitty reviews for business and never put a good review or experience people are always are so negative these days, I think that personally people need to stop being so negative we all have bad experience with businesses that is life, after viewing some comments on pacific place Canadian tire I thought it was only right that I tell everyone how my experience was with Canadian Tire, I called around to dealers to get my truck fixed and they wanted to charge me arm and a leg so I called around and finally spoke with service center at Canadian Marlborough and I took my truck in at 8am and they called me to confirm the work I wanted done and it was finished in a timely matter and cost exactly what they had quoted me within a few dollars, they were pleasant and didn't try to do any extra work but did advise what I could need in the future and very pleasant to deal with. I will be returning in the future

We bought four 4' folded table here. At first, I noticed there were 2 different packagings (with different pictures of the product on their labels) for the same product code. Since I bought 4 of them and want to have exact same design and colour, i asked them if they could get the same kind of package to ensure the identical product inside. The staffs insisted that despite the difference outside, inside would be no difference. I had to take 2 of the old packages and two new ones (since they didn't want to go and check). I came home and opened them and realized ( to my expectation) that the tables were different!!! I had to came back to the store to exchange two of the new ones for the old ones (which I preferred). Unfortunately, one of the exchanged table had one faulty leg that didn't snap properly. I had to bring it back to the store the third time to exchange for a good one. They gave me the new packaging table again so I refused to take it. I tried to tell them, 3 of the staffs, the tables were different but they didn't listen. They looked at me like an idiot and insisted me that they are exactly the same (duh). I saw the difference with my own eyes while they only see the product code. I said sorry, I would like to keep the old want and will try to change it at other stores. They said no, now all the stores have the new products only and they already did the exchange. I didn't want the new product at all, I had 3 old version tables at the office already, I just want the old version. They cancelled the refund, snapped the receipt out of my hand, gave me dirty looks and unhappy faces. I felt so unjusticed that I have to opened the old package to show them the physically difference of two versions. I asked them if they see the difference. They had to say "yes" because they are obviously different. But that's it, no apology, still the unhappy face and unprofessional attitude until I left the store. Sorry for the long post... Please listen to your customers and know the products you are selling.

P/s: I exchanged the table at a different store after that, thanks to helpful staff there. Will never be back to the Malborough store again, thanks to your staffs' attitude.

This is the worst Canadian Tire in the city. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. Your better off spending your money at any other store BUT THIS ONE. THIS STORE SUCKS. STUPID DUMB ASSES

This is the most disorganized Canadian tire I have ever been to. There are items absolutely everywhere. Anytime you need help there is nobody to be found and if you by chance do find someone they're not much help. This place needs a serious face lift.

User

They charged me twice to fix my tire that they obviously didn’t fix the first time. Won’t go back there again.

Just to protect some fellows from bullying and humiliation.. Me and my husband went to Canadian tire store to return a Bissell vacuum on September 25, 2017 as it was not sucking the dust properly. The vacuum was in its original packing and everything was there with my original receipt that says 90 days return policy. I bought it a month ago and hardly used it once. The customer service opened the package and asked me to choose another one same or different price. I could not find any thing as all vacuums were very expensive there close to $200 and mine was 150 so could not find anything in my budget. When I returned back to the counter and tell them, one very aggressive guy says I can't take it back as it is full of water..it surprises me as there were no water, maybe he fill the water? or rinse the filter when I was gone to pick up another vacuum. Then he got very aggressive and started to bang the filter on the counter to show me the water vapours and started yelling at me saying this is water and I can't take it back. When i asked what should i do then he put back the vacuum in the box and throw it out towards the door and said out of my store and he also said shh..shhh by keeping his finger on his lips while I was trying to explain and said this is not the way to deal with customers ..He got angrier and said he is going to call the police. And he did. I had my 2 years old baby with me watching all this crap and was about to cry. It looks like bullying and discrimination. I will never ever go back to Canadian Tire and will not recommend any friend to buy from there as because of their retarded return policy, rude staff and humiliated behaviour with customers.. I will make a complain to consumer department and human rights department and will follow up with my complain against his humiliated and rude customers service. I am more disappointed with their humiliated and rude behaviour with customers...I am not alone feeling this way.. see Canadian tire customers reviews. Please share if anyone ever had to deal with this and made a complain.. and know what should I do? its not about returning the item it is about bad customer service and humiliation

I went into the store on February 9th to do some shopping. I didn't have a loonie for the cart, I asked a sales clerk how I could get a buggy, she took me to the quick checkout and they wanted to hang onto a piece of picture I.D. I couldn't get my license out of the mesh holder in my wallet, and she tried and couldn't either. Didn't offer any other solutions, I then thought ok, I will look around. A sales clerk stopped me and asked me if I needed any help, I explained to her that I needed a cart as I have a tear in my shoulder and also have arthritis, I explained what had happened and then she phoned the manager and whomever she spoke with said, well that's the store policy, again no help. One thing to keep in mind, there was more staff in the store than customers. I then phoned the head office and spoke with Amanda, she gave me the General Managers name at this location. I phoned and left a message and still haven't heard a reply. Our family will no longer be shopping at this store. All for the sake of a dollar, and in this economy.

I wanted to get an appointment for an oil change, I had to wait for about 25 minutes before anyone could make an eye contact, there was about four to 5 men, in the half an hour that I waited they ended up helping one couple ahead of me ... There wasn't a huge lineup or anything! So I had to leave ... And I went to the competitor and got an oil change all done in 45 minutes!

Dear Canadian tire ,

Could you please explain your profiling policies to me ? Don't say they aren't in play because my 21 year old son visited a Calgary store today as he walked in he headed straight to customer service for help where he was told he had to leave his backpack - a policy he disagrees with - so he politely declined and stated he would leave the store - when he went to leave he was now told he would be subjected to a search !?!?!? HE HAD JUST WALKED IN not that I agree with this policy sans any evidence of a crime - but he literally hadn't spent more than thirty seconds in the store .... and because he declines your ancient policy and chooses to leave he's suppose to submit to a search and seizure ? Something even Pi e need just cause for - when he asked to speak to the manager that went much bettter when he was told to "just get the fuck out " funny since

That was what he had been trying to do but was stopped and asked to be searched - a girlfriend noted she visited a location today with hoer LARGE purse and no one came near her or asked for her to leave her bag - pls explain why you profile some and not all ? Especially when he hadn't spent time in your store or acted suspicious !! I'm

Pretty appalled - especially since a friend in Edmonton was stranded in your parking lot after buying a battery and. No one would help and left him in bitter Temps due to the risk of liability when did you as a store lose humanity over the bottom line ??

Canadian tire at Pacific place in calgary, ab is absolutely unbelievably awful for auto service.

First, I get a flat tire I May 5th. I take it in to get it repaired, but they claim it's not repairable. They say I need 2 new tires and change me 330. But wait a sec, the tire they relace is flat only 6 days later, and then again a few days after that... what gives? I take my car back there on May 19th, and they say whoops, we missed that you have a hairline crack and now you need a new rim. WTF!? But the journey continues. I say ok, and they let me know it should be in in 4-5 days. It's now June 2nd and still no rim. No follow up on their end, and I'm stuck with no working tire, driving on a donut after passing 330 to get this problem resolved - a month ago!

I actually called the manager to inform him of the situation, and all he wanted to do was make excuses. His solution was just keep waiting for a new rim, or they can send it off to repair it. By far the worst customer experience I've ever had!

User

Buyer beware. I brought my car to this location for an out of province vehicle inspection. They didn't know how to properly test the operation my the daytime running lights. I ended up spending $570 on parts that weren't needed. They made no effort to make things right when advised of their error. I won't be going back.

Buyer beware. I brought my car to this location for an out of province vehicle inspection. They didn't know how to properly test the operation my the daytime running lights. I ended up spending $570 on parts that weren't needed. They made no effort to make things right when advised of their error. I won't be going back.
