4 More days until Valentine's <3

For those who may not know; I lost my very best friend, who also happens to be the person who brought me into the world, at the age of 52 in January during her visit to Calgary from Ontario to see us over Christmas. Our lives were forever changed, and the events that took place are not anything I would ever wish on anyone. After taking her remains home, and celebrating her life - I am now back in Calgary, and slowly easing into my business again. There are several clients w...ho have been ever so patient and kind during this deeply sad time - and I appreciate you so very much. If you are awaiting a session or product from me, you can expect it within the next 2 weeks, as I tie up loose ends due to this unexpected event. If you are interested in booking a session - I will slowly start taking appointments, but will be booking limited sessions as my family and I attempt to support each other and cope over the coming months. Thank you again so much, for all of the kindness you have shown my family and I over the last month - we are ever so grateful. Give your loved ones a tight squeeze, you just never know.

Snow Sessions have begun arriving in inboxes!! By tomorrow evening, all will be delivered. Candid Captures is completely booked for the remainder of 2015 - but is now booking for 2016!! Happy Holidays to all of my wonderful lovely clients who I appreciate so very much! Xo

Thank you to all who came out for the 2015 snow sessions :) It was crazy fun, and even crazier mess!! I'm sure everyone took a little snow home with them too. I'm hunkering down for editing now, to get all of your packages back to you in time for Christmas cards, and gifts ♡ Here is a quick preview of a small taste of what is to come for the snow session sneak peaks. ♡♡♡

Just a reminder: I am on vacation and will not be responding to inquiries or emails until the evening of Nov 22. I am a one person show and my family puts up with me working 70-80 hour work weeks on a regular basis, so when I take vacation - I respect their time and focus, and give back to them. It is so very important to our personal health and joy to nurture our relationships with our children. I will return all inquiries, messages, and emails the evening of the 22nd. Thank you for your understanding.

I am away taking a MUCH needed vacation this week I have been looking forward to since August - but I have been working on a very special extra as a Thank you for those who have booked and paid retainer for their Snow Sessions...and I'm so excited and can't wait to share!
I only have 3 slots left out of 20 - so if you haven't sent retainer and been confirmed, now is the time. :) Don't wait until it's too late, I hate turning people away!

I can't believe how much these girls have grown since last year!!

This little flower girl was a doll, and full of personality - she reminded me so much of my spirited Cassidy.
During the ceremony, the man who was marrying her mommy, paused to have a special moment with Ms. S, and let her know how special she is to him - and promised to be there for her, and love her always.
I can't deny, there were some tears in my eyes. It reminded me of 23 years ago, when my mom married my dad, and took a very special moment to make a very similar promise... to me, with a pretty little ring.
I was about the same age as Ms. S, and its a memory I'll always keep in a special place in my heart. It was so nice to see such a sweet girl, be so loved by her mommy's true love. xo

Thanksgiving is HANDS DOWN my very favorite holiday. Its not about gifts, and its not measured in any sort of monetary way. Its about family.
I grew up dreaming about having my own family, and although I definitely do not have a white picket fence, so to speak. I have so very much to look around and be grateful for.
One of them - is YOU! My loyal, and wonderfully kind, appreciative clients. I am so very grateful for the opportunity to capture your laughter, love, personalit...ies, and memories in a photograph. Your referrals, kind words, and return visits truly mean more than words can say.
Yesterday I got to be apart of another beautiful commitment between two people, who it was clear, fate very much took care of. They were so obviously meant to be.
