Canmore Gaucho Brazilian Barbecue

The place was fantastic. You start off with a salad bar and some carbs and then they come around with esentailyl different cuts of meat from Prime Rib, to brisket, chicken, chicken heart 🤢, and beef. You leave stuffed. The price is reasonable. I recommend it the service was amazing too.

Has the best 'salad bar' of any Brazilian steak house I've been to. Their meats are, aside from one time where a piece of signature rump roast was very undercooked, very delicious. They have the best garlic sirloin of any place I've been to. They also often offer a lot of interesting fare, like BBQ pineapple, creamy chicken stroganoff and the juiciest chicken hearts I've ever eaten.

Service is staggeringly prompt and polite. The servers makes me feel like royalty.

Weird side note: Their men's room is super weird. The small washroom has a private screen between the urinal and the sink, but the toilet is just right there next to the urinal. No stall or even a privacy barrier. Maybe ensure you don't need to use the bathroom while you're here.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Buffet area was cleanly laid out and had a wide variety. Food tasted good and very suitable for families with kids. Restaurant was vey clean too. We saw families with babies and toddlers enjoying the good. Well catered for all!

First time at a Brazilian BBQ. Staff were friendly and were very nice about explaining to us how everything worked. The food was spectacular the dining room itself was very nice. After our meal the manager came to our table and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. Very personable. I told my boyfriend after we left that this was by far the best eating experience I've ever had. 10/10 would recommend!

The variety and flavour of meat that comes to your table in a never-ending (if you don't want it to) train of servers slicing the meat right off the rib/brisket/roast for you is unbelievable. Our actual table server was scarcely found but luckily that didn't slow the meat down. I think we just caught the front of house on a busy night. Amazing food, friendly service. Will definitely be back.

The meat is delicious. The all you can eat buffet is amazing. The only thing that is different from the Brazilian way is the salad bar. It supposed to have deli meats and cheeses also a bigger variety of salads. But all the rest of the food is so good.

Great location on the high Street. Staff very friendly, our server was a British girl who asked if it was our first visit, which it was she then took the time to explain how the service works. We went at lunch time so there are a few less options of meat, but still more than enough to keep you going. We never felt rushed, as well as never having an empty plate. The salad bar has not only salads but stews as well. As well as fresh bread with three types of butter. Everything was cooked to perfection. We finished our meal with coffee, we can highly recommend the Americano and the latte. Will definitely visit again.

Excellent place! I have been here 3 times and each time was a nice experience. You get to taste many kinds of food, the meats are amazing and each time they are made perfectly. The staff is very friendly and each time you request a specific food they give it to you in no time! The side dishes are also very tasty. This place is really unbelievable and I would recommend it to any one really. It is really worth the price that you are paying (if you are worried about it) you come out fully satisfied and full. :)

It is the best place in town to fall into a meat coma. The side dishes are fantastic and the BBQ is always top notch. It is slightly too salty, but otherwise excellent.

Must have caught them on a bad night...The better cuts of meat never came around. Each time a waiter came by, they'd ask if there were any requests. They must have done this at least 5 times, before some of the things came out once.
The chicken and sausage came out many times, but the beef or lamb came by once at most.
Waitress also mistakenly added on a 9$ glass of wine to the bill.
Have been here before and found it better, but it just sucked tonight.

Amazing experience. Everything we ate was so delicious and top quality. Staff and service was exceptional. Highly recommended. Must try the BBQ pineapple.

What a fun experience, and incredible good! Our waiter was also polite, fun and enhanced our dining experience. We can't wait to go back again! This will be on our list of "must do's" when we are back in Canmore! You won't be disappointed. :)
