The "Labor Day Classic" is one of the greatest traditions in Canadian sport. Every year, the Edmonton Eskimos and the Calgary Stampeders take to the turf of McMahon Stadium on Labor Day for the battle of Alberta, CFL style. It's one of the best parties in the country! We interrupt your summer to bring you some very exciting CURLING news. Yeah, we know… still summer, lots of golf left, too early to talk about winter sports, right? But please bear with us, as this might just be the biggest curling story to hit the Bow Valley… ever! We’re talking about the Qualico Mixed Doubles Classic, hosted jointly by the Banff and Canmore Curling clubs, January 3-6, 2019.
Mixed Doubles Curling stole the show at the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics, when John Mor...ris & Kaitlyn Lawes brought the gold medal back to Canada. John & Kaitlyn are registered to compete in the Qualico event, as is the team of Brent Laing (former World Champion) & Jennifer Jones (Olympic Gold Medalist). Indeed, the $10,000 winner’s purse is attracting some big names to the Bow Valley! Also registered: the father/daughter duo of Emilie & Robert Desjardins. Jocelyn Peterman & Brett Gallant… and the list goes on! But here’s the really cool thing about this event… Big name teams are signing up, and so can YOU. Yes, you! Imagine taking the ice against the elite of Mixed Doubles Curling. What an amazing opportunity to see and learn “how it’s done” up close and in-person!
Curling fan, but not quite sure about squaring off against the world’s best? Make some time to take in some games as a spectator. 11 members of our Team Canmore junior golf program made the trek to Kananaskis Country Golf Course yesterday for 9 holes on the Mt. Lorette course. Safe to say that fun was had by all! Special thanks to Bob Paley for his support for our program and to all the golf course staff, who treated our crew like royalty at every turn. A great day of golf for the 2018 McLennan Ross Canmore Junior Open. Here are the overall winners, Carlos Bagni on the boys side and Brynne Davies for the girls. Thanks to everyone who took part plus a special thanks to our group of member volunteers for shuttling golfers to their tees, manning the check in desk, ball spotting and helping with all the last-second little things that have to happen to make it all work!

Whatcha doin' on Friday, August 17th? We're asking because we're offering our second Friday night "Nine & Dine" of the season: nine holes of golf, dinner and a drink, all for $75.00 ($30.00 for club members)! It's a great way to unwind after a busy week - but spaces are limited, so it pays to book early. Tee times start at 5:00pm. Give the Admin office a call at 403-678-5959 to book your spots.

Shhh, don't tell anyone. Best patio in Canmore, sunny, quiet and a great view.



Doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't. The food is relatively simple, but very satisfying. The staff is attentive and efficient. Menu prices are not what you'd expect in a tourist town.



All 18 holes are require some thought, it's not a grip it and rip it course. Deceptively simple at first glance, but the traps and a couple of big trees (4th hole I'm looking at you) will give you pause.



Views are spectacular and will help you feel better after finding the beach on the 10th.



Halfway house between 5 and 6, 14 and 15 has got frosty cold beers and snacks to soothe your​ ego if the views aren't enough.



But don't go here, I want to be able to book tee times and get a table on the patio after the round. �

Picturesque, well playing 18 hole golf course in the valley bottom. The views are incredible. Very nice track. Great clubhouse with excellent food and a good wine selection.

One of my favorite golf courses in THE best town in the world! Love the month a year we spend there with our best friends, Kay and Gary Anderson.

Had a wonderful Easter brunch, excellent food selection at a reasonable price - bonus - an Easter egg hunt for the kids. Plus one of the best views in town, as always the team there exceeded our expectations!

Great new Menu! I recommend those Crab cakes! Beautiful New Decor! Wonderful New Option to feature The Bow Valleys amazing talent!

Great course! Much more fun layout than Silvertip. Friendly staff and very accommodating of our 16 man bachelor party. Will definitely be back multiple times.

Funtimes. Great course layout. Good condition and less pricey than other courses in the area.

Drove from Red Deer with my girlfriend for a day trip and I have to say this is one fantastic course. The layout of every hole, the views, the friendly staff and the great food and patio. Will definitely be going back, hopefully sooner than later!

Course is in great shape. First 18 down and looking forward to many more this summer.

Awesome place, even early in the season the fairways, greens were in great shape. Staff was friendly and very helpful for our needs. Will defiantly be returning back again.

Archetypal "little gem" of a golf course. Some great holes and beautiful views. Greens are too notch
