Canadian Rockies Mountain Guides is a small group of fully certified ACMG /IFMGA Mountain Guides who live, work and play in the mountain corridors of Banff /Canmore, Golden and Revelstoke.
Mountain guiding started in western Canada with the completion of the Canadian Pacific Railway by brining in professional Mountain Guides from Switzerland to promote tourism in both the Selkirk and Canadian Rocky Mountains over a hundred years ago.
Ours is the profession and art of efficiently moving people through the mountains safely to successfully meet objectives while optimizing guest experience.
We are long time local mountain professionals /risk managers who are passionate about the mountains and we take pride in giving our guests the safest and most unforgettable experiences of their lives.
