We've been customers here for years and keep coming back both for the vehicles and the people. The service department is excellent and generally always go out of their way to keep you happy. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is because there are key people who are great to work with and make the experience excellent. If you don't know to contact those key people, you may not have the same experience.

I have had my vehicle for 5 years now, and have always used Canyon Creek Toyota for my service. I usually don’t have a great experience with this dealership, from purchasing to service, however this time the service was great. I was a bit shocked. I’m sorry, I don’t recall the name of the gentleman that was at the counter, but he was great, even told me that they could get the service done right away, rather than leaving the van all day.
I wish all my experiences with Canyon Creek were this great for then I would probably buy from this dealership again.

The service provided by Lawrence was exceptional. He was very pleasant and considerate and explained the maintenance requirements thoroughly. He listened to my concerns and heard what I was saying. A courtesy vehicle was provided and appreciated. Well done and thank you for recognizing a long term customer (14 yrs).

Back in June, I called in to book an appointment to have a recalled part replaced. The gent that I spoke with let me know that the part was on order and booked me in for an appointment in 2 weeks time. When I arrived on the date of my appointment, I was sent to the service manager who informed me that no one ordered the part, nor did they book me in for the service. The sales manager (unfortunately I do not recall his name) told me he would personally order the part and call me when it arrived taking my name, number and address. One, two and three weeks passed before I finally called in and asked to speak directly with the manager. I inquired if the part had arrived, it had. I inquired as to why I was never notified, he replied with "I don't know". At this point I decided not to bother with this dealership if this is the level of customer service they provide.

Flash forward to October (4 months after first contact), I get a voice mail from a service agent from the dealership letting me know that my part is in and asking me to call back to book in for service. I decide to call back and confirm that this part is ACTUALLY in this time and she assures me it is, booking me an appointment (which I also added an oil change).

When I arrived, the desk agent was friendly and guided me through the paperwork. I mentioned that I had brought a mail-out that mentioned 15% off the oil change and he assured me they would add that to the bill when I returned to pick up my car.

Returning, I was ignored by the desk agents who were gathered around the (later found out) cash-out agent discussing life events. After a few minutes, the original desk agent from drop off decided that the customer should be attended to. I signed paperwork with him and was sent to the cash-out agent who had to take a few more minutes discussing important non-work business. After reviewing the bill, I mentioned that I had the 15% pamphlet that was supposed to be removed from the total. After a deep sigh she sent me back to the original desk agent, who in turn also felt the need to give a huge sigh.

Look, I get maybe you're having a bad day. Perhaps something ruined your day between me dropping off my car and picking it up. Unfortunately when working in the customer service industry, you have to check your baggage at the door. If honouring a discount that your business decided to send out the mail is so difficult and aggravating perhaps its time to rethink working in a customer-facing position.

Overall I have had 3 extremely poor interactions with this dealership. Would I return? Hell no. If you are reading the reviews looking for a dealership: I would tell you to run. Run for the hills.

If you are reading this and work for this dealer: Out of all Toyota dealerships in the city (and outlying areas) you rank the lowest and for good reason. I hope that you start working on the areas your business seems to be lacking in. In this day and age customers look towards reviews for guidance and the more negative ones you have the more customers will overlook your services in favour of those with higher ratings.

I would love to send a BIG Thank you to the staff team at the Canyon Creek Toyota, in particular to the amazing sales person Ali S. He was truly a very polite, considerate, kind man. I did purchase a fair amount of cars in my life, from various dealerships in Calgary, BUT nothing compare to how I was treated by a sales person ever before. As a single lady, to go in a buy a car, Ali made it so much nicer. Thank you to the manager for having such great people in his team.
Please go and see Ali S. if you do shop for a car. You will be so HAPPY. :)

I had an amazing experience with Ali and Mike. Ali is the product adviser that worked with us to find the perfect truck for the right price. He went above and beyond to help us. He didn't make any promises he could not keep and was honest about every step of the process. Mike the used cars manager was amazing he helped get the truck into the right price range for me. He also went above and beyond to make everything work out for the best. They didn't screw around they got me the perfect truck and very quickly as well very impressed with everything they did to help. They were not pushy about anything and had good communication about all the steps. I will be back for the next time I am looking for a new vehicle. I recommend talking to the Ali/ Mike team. They are both amazing and will help in any way they can. Thanks for everything

Not the first dealership I went to. One of the last I will ever go to.

If I could give a no-star ratting I would.

A few issues I think management should take a look at.
* There were sales people who were not busy.
* We had managed to walk around the entire show room and parking lot without being approached once.
* Walked into the show room again. We were looking at vehicles.
* Sales person started to walk in our direction, nope... she started talking to the father of a kid who just bought a car from ANOTHER sales associate.

I shouldn't have to walk into a sales associates office or ask reception to page someone to sell me a vehicle or answer questions. A prospective client should be greeted, left to browse or talk to a sales associate.

I bought my $70K truck from another dealership. Your loss.

Nick was very helpful, and took the time to answer any question I had. I enjoyed his sense of humor and friendly personality. All the staff I dealt with were very pleasant. Also, enjoyed the cappuccino machine.
