"Don't let your babies grow up to be jpegs" I can not imagine anything more important than recording and preserving your family's memories. If we don't do it, who will? Nothing warms my heart more than seeing my sons ages 24, 22 and 18 looking through their photo albums. Photos and videos are all we have left from a moment in time! I see the importance and value in album making perhaps because of my work in the museum field. Nothing in history would be here today if it weren't for photos and documentation. . . it is the same for our families! Or maybe I see the importance and value in album making because I have been so very privileged to have had 2 Great Grandmothers, 2 Grandmothers and 2 Grandfathers in my life. The memories I have with my great grandmother are kept because of photos, letters, recipes and written notes of love! Now in my 40s, I have 1 grandmother left but I have photos of their lives! Computers, phone, memory cards and thumb drives can crash. . . trust me they crash! Where are your photos?
