I stopped by Mel Music one afternoon to have a visit with Mel. It was hard to walk by without stopping in to see what was going on in Mel World. During the course of our conversation, Mel said that he didn’t think there were going to be any Christmas concerts in High River that year. He went on to say that The Hamiltones might be able to do one. Within a matter of days, he had it organized. Mel to the rescue once again. A memorable evening.
What an awesome spot! A great old building for beautiful music! And the food and service were great too!

On what was probably the one the busiest nights at Carlson’s (the night of the No Roads In afterparty) the service was excellent the staff was friendly and efficient! Couldn’t have asked for better.
Great place for beers & wings on the patio, or enjoying the quality music Don brings in! Good service, hometown friendliness and a wonderfully interesting, classy and unique venue.
Great ambience ! Great friendly service! Will be back for live music!
From the moment you step up the stairs to enter this unique and welcoming atmosophere, the ambience takes over. Don and the staff make you feel at home. They take great pride in their establishment and making it a visit to remember.
The live entertainment is a nice, refreshing addition to a building full of character with an interesting past! Embrace this gem of High River!
The menu is limited, but a good mix of 'pub' style and comfort. Their Whiskey selection is notable!
I highly recommended to keep a watch on their events, and take a visit to Carlson's on MacLeod!
