They say it takes a village. It’s a lovely sentiment with one glaring issue: where is this village? Either our villagers are spread out too far to help, or we haven’t had the chance to accumulate villagers. This is where I come in (if you’ll let me).

Do you ever feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day in order to get everything done? Do you need help weekly, monthly, or just every now and then?

I am Mommy to a wonderful 8 year old son who has various sensory, anxiety, and behavioural issues that have led us down the homeschooling road. Kieran now comes with me as I work and is a great asset to have around (especially when we're looking after other children).

One of my biggest struggles since moving back to Calgary has been finding a community to surround us and to actively participate in. With this struggle I can only assume that other parents are experiencing the same thing to some extent and I’d like to change that as much as I can.
