Hello my name is Carly and I run Carly's Groom Room. I am the lover of animals and people plus am the proud owner of 2 shitzu /poodles named Schnitzel & Strudel; named after my Oma's favourite fixings.
It has always been known that dogs feed off our energy, when we are calm. . . our dog is calm. Being a lover of animals, essential oils, yoga and reiki, I wanted to incorporate all these aspects of my life into Carly's Groom Room, a 1 dog at a time private grooming service nestled in by the island shore of Bay Fortune PEI.
This is a great trip out of the house for your dog in a stress free and calming atmosphere! With a lavender diffuser in the air (used to prevent stress and anxiety) and relaxing meditation music it is a happy and calm place dedicated to your dogs grooming experience.
While working in private busy grooming salons where I mastered my grooming skills I noticed that most dogs were anxiety driven due to the loud and busy environment with other animals around. This is what inspired me to create an inviting environment for dogs in Carly's Groom Room.
This is a great space for puppies who are learning the grooming ropes, dogs who would normally express anxiety or aggression in high volume salons, and even the fluffy middle aged dog who just simply wants to enjoy a spa day! We recently Adopted Buddy who had come from Texas through a dog rescue organization. Having been through so much already, we were looking for a groomer that would put him at ease and make the experience a positive one. I'm so glad we found Carly! I was so happy with Si's furminator treatment! We would always be covered in fur every time we rubbed up against him, especially wearing black. After seeing Carly not one hair fell off of him. So impressed and will definitely be back! Living with a dalmation is no longer an issue. Thanks Carly!
I took Jack, our Goldendoodle into see Carly for a much needed haircut for the summer. She did a great job, but more than that, she really cares about how our dogs feel and tries to make their grooming experience a more calming one. :)

I had my Golden Retriever, KaTe, to Carly today for the first time. Let me say, she was quite a piece of work when I dropped her off! I opted for the Furminator treatment because she has sooooo much hair. Carly did an absolute amazing job on her. As well, KaTe was not as stressed out following her grooming as she has been at various other places. I highly recommend Carly's Groom Room, and we will definitely be back!
I had Toby there on feb 9th she did an awesome job of his new haircut and loved the idea where she puts bandanas on them to go home

Finn was always a bit timid when being groomed but I see so much improvement since we started coming to Carly! She has such a calming atmosphere! Finn is always happy to go and always looks great after!!

Carly made it so easy for me to arrange a spa day for my Dalmatian Si while I’m out of province. He had a furminator shedding treatment and brushing and he looks amazing in the pictures I was sent afterwards. Carly also has email $ transfer option which is super convenient as well

Brought my golden retriever Butterball to Carly today. She was very welcoming and made feel him right at home. She used the De-Furminator treatment, which worked wonders on his big fluffy coat. When I came to pick him up he was totally relaxed and looked like a million bucks. Cant thank Carly enough! Highly recommend, definitely will be back!
