ŌĆ£My daughter and husband love cats, so today we decided to come to The Cat Cafe, which by the way is a great place to go to because you actually get to play and pet the cats while youŌĆÖre enjoying a drink, nice music and friendly people, ŌĆ£the meowchandise is a unique touch to the cafeŌĆØ, says my daughter. I was so happy to see her enjoying the moment and have fun these cute kittens. They were so sweet and playful, totally worth the visit. IŌĆÖm pretty sure I will come back to this amazing place another timeŌĆØ.
one of our favorite places! we live in Saskatoon but come to Edmonton every few months and we always make sure to stop in to the Cat Cafe! the $15 is well worth it, especially knowing it goes towards caring for the cats! and the drinks are always awesome, we will definitely be returning!
We attended the weekly children's event (Sundays from 9 to 10am). I felt that the cafe had a wonderful and warm atmosphere with great coffee and snacks.
The ladies working today were very professional and knowledgeable about the cats and great with the children who were there. The rules set out for how to approach the cats are clear and straight-forward. The cats are generally very sweet and have their own personalities. Overall, it's a great opportunity to get to know the cats before adopting one, or just to chill will some cats. The hardest part was at the end, when we had to explain to our son that we wouldn't be bringing one of the cats home with us today.
Thank you for providing a safe space for the rescue cats and for cat lovers.
Took my daughter there for her birthday and we loved it. The cats are so sweet and cuddly. Relaxed atmosphere. The drinks and snacks were yummy. I don't mind paying the entry fee as it goes towards food, litter and the general care for the cats and that's great! It was very hard to leave all the cats behind. If we didnt already have two at home, we would of definatly adopted one ’┐Į’┐Į Can't wait for our next visit!
Not a place to pop in for a 'to-go' coffee. Sit a spell. Even if the cats are aloof, just watching them play and sleep...and being in a room full of cat lovers is a good place to strike up a conversation.
My partner admitted he enjoyed it a lot more than he thought he would. (I knew he would along). We both found the atmosphere very calming and mood boosting. Will be looking to adopt in the future ŌÖĪ
My daughter and I went today and fell in love. Cute little coffee shop with the added bonus of getting love from kitties. I have seen some people complain about the price. $15 for an hour that comes with unlimited drinks. IŌĆÖve been to Starbucks and itŌĆÖs cost that for my family and we drive away in our car. You get to chill and hang out with these little darlings. Nice atmosphere and you know your helping organization with your support. No pressure to adopt except from my daughter. CanŌĆÖt wait for our next visit. Tip wear socks as you have to remove shoes in cat room.
My dad, daughter and myself are all allergic to cats, but love them! What a great way to get our "fix"! Such a beautiful space too!
LOVE this cafe. Matcha lattes are delicious and the kitties are just purrrfect
I went with friends and it was an amazing experience. The hot drinks were delicious, and I loved how the cats' well-being and experiences were paramount (i.e: requiring us to wash our hands before entering, us not being allowed to pick up the cats or bother them when they're sleeping, and not allowing kids under 10 yrs old inside). The fact that all the cats are adoptable is even better! I would definitely go again.
I really enjoyed my first time visiting The Cat cafe, staff were very friendly. Also loved meeting with the cats, they were very friendly, they love craving attention. Also plan to visit again soon. Really love the service & atmosphere!
I am a frequent customer. I love visiting the cats, and always feel very welcome by the human staff. Very clean, and the drinks are great! I recognize that this is the cats' home, and they can't always be "on" for human entertainment. Sometimes, it is peaceful just to watch them sleep.
Cute place! A ŌĆ£mustŌĆØ to visit for something different & fun to do. The drinks and baked treats are delicious. $15 will get you an hour visit with unlimited drinks. Good spot for any animal lover!
Coming here was the best thing for me. Getting to see and spend time with these beautiful kitties made my whole week. They were so sweet. Totally worth the trip. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐ Į’┐Į
Cat Cafe on Whyte in Edmonton is a nice place to go for a coffee on Whyte Ave. They have excellent coffee and the atmosphere is wonderful with the cats. I enjoyed my time with the gentle felines and was blessed by having cats that choose to sit on my lap or sit next to me. It was fun to visit with and pet these wonderful cats who are awaiting their forever homes. The staff are wonderful too. If you love cats and enjoy a cup of coffee, give the cats and the Cat Cafe on Whyte a try. I am glad I did!
Went this past monday - first time. Really cute place. When we first got in there was one seat left for us so that was good. I think the key of being in there is buying the treats to feed them. I didn't but they pretty much didn't come near people without food lol.
I think I would come back if the 'cat lounge fee' was maybe cheaper. It was good to try once but for the price, it would deter me from being a repeat customer. Drinks were good. One downside was the airflow. Very hot in there and not a lot of any kind of air movement. But very cute in there. I recommend trying it.
Love the atmosphere and the coffee drinks. Wish the age level rule was enforced for the upper level and that parents watched their kids more.
Great place for cat lovers. Definitely recommend it.
Brought a 2yr old and all cats were really nice and good with her. Lota of cats on the first level so the age limit for the second level wasn't limiting. Very clean and drinks were delicious. Staff was very friendly. The whole place has a very calming atomosphere and overall was really great. The price is really reasonable especially because of the unlimited drinks (works out to about the cost of two starbucks drinks). Only problem was the shoe area. It was very unorangized and a small space for the number of people/shoes. Coming in and out was really stressful and difficult. Would recommend installing a larger and sturdier shoe shelf and enforcing the use of it. Would definitely go back.
