Cci-Lex Description
CCI-LEX is a fantastic school for adults who want to learn English as a Second Language!
We welcome Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents, Refugees and Refugee Claimants into our LEX Program.
Permanent and temporary residents (people who have work, study or visitors visas) are able to study in the CCI Program. We can also support the student visa application (DLI #O125073908927).
CCI-LEX aims
- To help students become proficient in English, and enable them to
achieve the expected learning outcomes;
- To provide instruction which satisfies the cultural as well as linguistic needs
of the students;
- To promote the contributions of different cultures and languages to our
society.

Come to a Community Shopping Day at Ten Thousand Villages Canada on Thursday, December 6, 2018, to support CCI-LEX. Shop for awesome fair-trade, hand-made products from all over the world and 15% of all sales between 5pm to 8pm will be donated to CCI-LEX!
The International Volunteer Day (IVD) is TODAY! Let us share the value of volunteerism and thank all of our volunteers at CCI-LEX! Because of your great contributions to our school, students from over 90 different countries every year have the opportunities to improve their English and learn about Canadian culture. #IVD2018 #resilientcommunities
Our students went to the University of Alberta Observatory! It was too cloudy so we couldn’t look through the telescopes but we learned about the Aurora and got to look at some meteorites!
Giving Tuesday was a great success! Thank you to everyone that donated to CCI-LEX, helping us support new Canadians learn English and connect to their community! Because of your support, we beat last year's total and raised over $2100. Thank you for helping us provide textbooks and four weeks of classes to 35 new Canadians to learn English at CCI-LEX.
