About Central Alberta Theatre
Central Alberta Theatre Society started in 1970 in Red Deer, Alberta, making it one of the oldest not-for-profit, volunteer-based amateur theatre companies in Canada. In l994, CAT took over operation of the Red Deer Memorial Centre.
Central Alberta Theatre Description
The objective of the Society is to promote and recognize artistic, literary and cultural talent in the performing arts and to develop community interest; to maintain an active organization dedicated to the production of first-rate performing arts on a community level.
