Chaka neMbira is a creative startup aimed at pushing the boundaries of tradition in order to encourage the creative expression of mbira culture through a diverse range of art forms including visual art, spoken word, fashion and design.
The mbira is a polyrhymthic instrument hailing from the Shona people of Zimbabwe. Rich in tradition and culture it can serve as a point of reference for understanding Shona and Zimbabwean identity and charting a path for the future
