I do not enjoy going to the dentist one bit I’ll be honest but the staff at this place are great from the people at the front desk to the people working on your teeth. They are all top notch. Will continue to go to them.

I am a new patient and had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Chase Leavitt, who came highly recommended. This was absolutely the best visit and experience I've had at a dentist and I am not only picky, but I also experience anxiety in dental visits. The staff were all great, the top equipment helped alleviate the often uncomfortable scaling process, and Dr. Leavitt's humour and easy-going manor clearly sets the tone for his team. Not only that, but the location was easy to get to and the cost was very efficient compared to what I've been paying for years and years. One would think pricing would go up, but apparently I've been overpaying for years. This was the most thorough exam and most informative visit to the dentist I've ever had. Highly recommend Dr. Leavitt.

Staff are courteous, friendly, efficient, and attentive. They work hard to make their clients comfortable, and are professional and skillful in the treatment of their patients.

I had a cracked tooth and my dentist referred me to Chaparral Dental Wellness. They were able to see me the same day and the tooth extraction experience was fantastic. They explained everything to me, made sure that I was not in any pain throughout the extraction, gave great follow up instructions, and the dentist phoned me the next morning to make sure that everything was ok. Even though the tooth was a challenge to remove, I did not feel any discomfort throughout the extraction and even the next day.

If you want more harm done than good, this is the place for you. I got a filling done that was so painful that i went back the next day. They told me that they had cracked the tooth and it was normal. They didn't seem to care that it was so painful and told me cracking of the tooth was common and expected. Not having had many cavities, I believed them. I went to another dentist less than a year later and the new dentist explained that this kind of crack was not normal and that two new cavities (more than I've ever had in my life so far) had occurred because the crack wasn't fixed. Now I have to pay for two additional fillings plus the faulty one and go through the hassle again. I hope someone reads this and avoids the cost and pain that I've experience with chaparral dental.

My family and I go to this clinic and we have always had a great experience. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. The pricing is fair and they are helpful with my insurance. The dentists are really patient with my 4 year old son and it's great they have evenings hours .

I am not someone who typically writes reviews. However I feel that it is important that my experience be shared. I cannot say enough negative things about my visit here. I had recently moved to the area and was looking for a new dentist. I made an appointment as a new patient to get a cleaning & x-rays. After the X-rays were taken, I met with Dr. Van Bergyk to review them. After looking at the x-rays for a few minutes the dentist told me I would need 1 root canal and 5 deep fillings that could not wait. At no point did the dentist actually check my teeth or conduct any further exams. I am fairly sure when he was telling me about all the work I would need his eyes lit up with dollar signs. I left feeling incredibly upset. My husband urged me to get a second opinion, which thankfully I did. I found a dentist who was recommended by a friend. The second dentist examined my teeth, did a cold test on the tooth Dr Van Bergyk prescribed a root canal for and suggested that it could be filled. He did advise that there is always a possibility that with a deep filling the tooth could still need a root canal but why not try the filling first. A root canal should be used as a last resort. This was 4 months ago and the tooth is still fine. He also only found 2 minor cavaties. I understand that dentists have different opinions.. However this seems like an incredibly large difference of opinion.

I requested that Chaparral dental wellness group refund the charge for the initial exam ($97.00), since Dr Van Bergyk was only in the room with me for 5 minutes. I had to write several emails before getting a reply. The women I spoke to said she would get back to me within a week with an answer. Not surprising that she didn’t. So I sent another follow up email. Another week went by and finally I got a response. Their resolution was to credit the $97.00 to my account for any future work. Clearly I will not be going back there for any work. I explained that I was disappointed in this decision. No response.

It is very disappointing that a business would take an advantage of someone like this.

2 fillings fell out 2 other needed to be repaired and 1 was missed entirely. Requests ignored had to pay $900 out of pocket as redo's are not covered.

Absolutely terrible experience, my wife was given old style x-rays (not the new safer digital and they advertise). She was told she needed a bunch of fillings so made an appointment. When she went in for the appointment she was told that she would need to make a second appointment as not all the fillings would be able to be fixed in one sitting, scheduled for over an hour. She refused to accept this and the dentist agreed to complete all fillings. The dentist started with the small drill for a short time then seemingly got frustrated and started in with the BIG drill and hacked up my wife's teeth. It was a very intense experience nothing my wife has experienced before. During one filling a small boy passed, the dentist proceeded to talk with the little boy WHILE IN THE MIDDLE OF FINISHING A FILLING. I'm sorry but if you are charging over $1,000 for under 1 hour of work you best be paying attention for the entire hour. Once the boy left the dentist said "oops" and put a little extra stuff filling on top of an existing one. The entire operation was completed in 45 min ... 45 MIN !!! How do you go from, we can't do all this in 1.5 hours, to completing everything in 45 min, you use a bigger drill.

My wife now has permanent damage to her teeth that she will have to live with for the rest of her life because 1 dentist, that I foolishly trusted, and her irrationality.

We were ignored when we wrote to complain. This is not a professional place of business. Take care of your teeth you only get ... 2 sets.

I had my check up and cleaning last week with Ting, she did amazing! Great and thorough treatment. I was well taken care of.
