We have been taking our 2 year old Doberman to Chasin Tails since he was just a few months old. He is excited to go there each time and the staff are all so kind. They all know him by name and as soon as he walks in the door, his little tail is wiggling.

We have also taken advantage of many of the classes that Megan Brown offers. From agility, to creating calm, to puppy basics. The prices are very reasonable, and Megan is excellent, adapting her style to what each dog/owner pair needs in the moment.

We are also regular participants at the monthly pack walks. Getting out to have a nice walk and visit while providing balanced structure for the dogs is a wonderful opportunity.

I am happy to say that over the years we have been going to Chasin Tails many of the employees have transitioned from being acquaintances to friends.

I am excited for all of the new development that Chasin Tails is focusing on currently. I look forward to touring the new vet clinic when it is up and running.

Way to go Chasin Tails, we are big fans!

We frequently bring our small dog meet up groups to Chasin' Tails. Have always had a great experience! Most indoor dog daycares that we rented in the past just left us on our own - but here there are always at least 2 staff available in case we need anything. They set up chairs before we get there, fill up the water bowls, change the water in the bucket as needed and more - and they have agility equipment too for the dogs to enjoy! They offer up snacks for a donation to the Hollywood Hounds Rescue Group. They are centrally located with LOTS of free parking. Our guests really enjoy it. Two paws up ... er... Two Thumbs up! Thanks Chasin' Tails!

This was Chance first full day at Chasin T. It's exactly what he needed, a home away from home. The staff were great, facility clean and my 5 month old pup is tired (yes!!!). I can see a once a week visit happening :-).

Thanks, again to Chasin-Tails for taking excellent care of Bella, the German Shepherd this weekend! Thank you to the training, daycare & boarding staff! I marvel over how far Bella has progressed in the 2 & 1|2 years she has been coming to you!

Tbeau has been coming to Chasin Tails over 2 years now.

We started in daycare and grooming (which by the way is excellent), we also took many classes for his leash reactiveness.

Recently Chasin Tails switched to a new methodology of force free and positive reinforcement. It’s amazing.

We have learned so much, our walks are so enjoyable.

I highly recommend Lyndsay and staff for all your training needs. Whatever the issue, they’ll have the answer.

User

Our two fur kids LOVE this place and love the staff. We have been going to the recent Meetups and think they’re such a great idea.

Looking forward to going again.

Oh my goodness what an amazing place! Thank you so much for taking great care of out dog Graffiti. He came home after his 10 day stay so happy, healthy and beautiful. It was obvious he was loved on, brushed and got attention. While we were apart we missed him a ton (of course haha) but all of the staff took time to answer my messages right away and send photos. This is the best kennel we have ever used. I can't express enough how pleased we all are (especially Graffiti). If anyone wants any more of a referral feel free to reach out via Facebook. HUGE FANS!

No Borders Animal Rescue Society (a group I volunteer with) use these guys for training for our rescue pups in Calgary with their new owners and it’s awesome! There are bad reviews about them but that was a loooong time ago and these guys have shown so much growth and continuous improvement since then. I think we should never judge anyone by their past but who they are at present and these guys are fantastic! Everyone makes mistakes but how they use those as learning opportunities is what really matters. These guys have a very clean, spacious and well monitored facility. And I love the skybox for people to view their dog playing. My pup came home today after a 10-night stay here and I could tell she was super happy and hadmade friends with the staff and was clearly exhausted from playtime as she has spent most of this evening happily napping away:) I would recommend them in a heart beat! As I mentioned above, I love their skybox and whenever they have the capability, for longer stays, I would pay extra to Skype with my dog a minute or so every few days to say hi to her. Yes I’m a crazy about dogs kind of person even though I only have one.

I want to thank the amazing staff for being flexible, accommodating and for calling me back when we were looking for drop in boarding while we were visiting our grandson on Calgary last Saturday! I had made many calls to other doggy daycares without success! The hotel where we were staying is pet friendly asked how I made out trying to find a drop in service! I told them who I found and they are going to give their guests your number. Thank you for being there when we needed it! I will be back!

I took our rescue dog Jelli to Chasin tails to help socialize her and she loved it. I was very impressed by the intake they did to ensure Jelli was safe as well as the other dogs that were there. Great customer service. I felt great about dropping her off (even if I did call in to check on her!) and she was quite happy to sleep when we got home!

We will be back

I love you guys!! 🙂 I was worried to bring my furbaby to doggy daycare, but after seeing how happy he is to go there and when I pick him up made me feel so good that I chose you guys to watch my little guy while I’m at work! 🤗 He’s so sleepy and cuddly when we get home, I love it! And when you know him by name already after only bringing him a few times, now that’s amazing! Thank you again!! Roman & his Mama 🐶🐾💙

Heather has taken on the challenge of grooming our large collie who doesn't like to be brushed and now he looks like a handsome collie and is quite excited to visit her . She has also made my little Pom. look like a princess and unfortunately I have lost her to cancer, but Heather made her look like a little diva and she had never been groomed before. My maltese x Fargo is a very handsome boy when she is done - he is crossed with a poodle so has very curly and then matted curls. All three of my fur babies come out of Chasin Tails looking like a picture. Thanks you Heather. My doggies love you and your care of them. Marianne and Ej- Scout Fargo and the late Stella

Chasing tails has been wonderful for our 2 year old chocolate lab, Chevy. We were taking him to Kim @ Stay N Play in Strathmore but due to work were unable to keep taking him there. He had been going there since he was a baby, and Kim is awesome... for anyone in that area I nightly recommend that place. We had to find a new daycare in Calgary for Chevy and tried a couple because they were so highly recommended on Facebook, posted all these pics.... he was always stressed when we picked him up, after the fourth time ( kept going as I thought he might have been spoiled from being with Kim for so long) and then he was injured.... staff never mentioned a thing. Then we brought him to Chasin Tails!!! I seriously cannot recommend this place enough, they do t seem to have a really good review online but I think it is from past ownership. Finding this place for us has been a godsend!!! And now we get his shots done there as well. Just like other posts, he gets better from being there, it's like taking your dog to school. I highly recommend this place!!

Chasin'Tails is by far the greatest place in the world for all dogs. I do not get there as much as I would like to any more and can not wait to bring Ninja in for a visit! We love you guys. Want to vote for you but can't find out where to vote. Please send the info to me. Hope to see you soon.

Chasin tails has been fantastic. I have two high energy doodles who have been loving their daycare stays. It has been such s relief to know they are being cared for and loved while I’m away. I highly recommend them.

User

Took my pup in for his complimentary “puppy package” service. The staff were good and I picked up a clean puppy a few hours later. It took them a little longer than expected to call but it was because he was having so much fun playing with the other dogs. He seemed to really have enjoyed himself.

My only suggestion would be to offer reminder calls to clients about appointments just so everyone shows up on time.

Edit: I very much appreciate the phone call from Ashley to discuss my concerns. That is the level of customer service I had come to expect from Chasin' Tails and it's comforting to know how seriously she takes customer concerns and feedback.

I have been taking my dogs to Chasin' Tails for almost 10 years. I used to always recommend them and the staff as a great daycare and boarding option; especially for people like me that don't work regular schedules and need weekend care. Sadly, over the past several months there have been a few incidents that have been very frustrating and shown a real lack of customer service. I don't know if it is because the facility is expanding too quickly and doesn't have the staff to keep up or what. But yesterday was the final straw. After arriving to pick up my dog to find the reception area completely empty, I browsed the treats and waited several minutes for someone to come. With no sign of anyone, I went to the side door and could hear staff on the other side laughing and talking. I hollered Hello with no response. Being in a hurry to get to an appointment, I began to grow impatient - you had my dog, I couldn't just leave. When someone finally came I commented (quite grumpily, I'll admit) how frustrating it is to stand in an empty lobby with no way of knowing whether or not anyone knows you are there. As a side note, I do understand there will be less staff on weekends but a buzzer or call bell for customers would at least give us the chance to let staff know someone needs assistance. The response was sorry but there was a small dog trying to bite someone. She then became very condescending. So this begs a bigger question. Does the staff in the back not know what to do if there are problems? Are you so short staffed on weekends there are not enough people to properly handle the dogs? This is not the first time I've had this kind of experience with this staff member, nor is it the first time I've heard this excuse. Sadly, I think it is time for me and my pups to find a new place to play.

User

We left our small senior dog for 5 days boarding, with instructions to move her to a private kennel if there were any issues. When we picked her up she was so tired she could barely walk, she had a major limp for over a week, and was unable to bark or cry because her vocal chords were strained. It took over 2 weeks to recover. When we called in we were told "everything was fine", and the staff instantly became defensive when questioned. Our dog was obviously traumatized and injured. If they were at least honest about her condition I wouldn't be leaving this negative review. BIG RED FLAG for anyone looking into this place.

User

Today I brought my dog in to be groomed and requested a teddy bear cut, a standard cut at our usual groomer. After dropping her off Chasin Tails called to discuss the cut length on my Burmese/Collie. I told her we always get her fur cut an inch to an inch and a half in length. She said that's typical and they never cut long hair dogs shorter than an inch. When I arrived for pickup they had me pay first and then brought out my dog shaved! I am not impressed and really hope my dogs nice soft fur comes back. I called them after I got home and calmed down a bit and the groomer told me they can't do teddy bear cuts! The groomer then stated that I asked to have my dog shaved. Totally unacceptable. If the staff do not know what they are doing they shouldn't be grooming pets at all.
