Chicago Deep Dish Pizza

Walked in and ordered a small galaxy pizza there. Excellent, seemed like a mom and pop operation that put some heart and soul into the food. I'd definately repeat.

We live 5 blocks away, pizza arrived 1 hour later, ice cold. Ok, that happens... We called and they threw attitude at us and didn't care.

Never again not polite when call for delivery .

Great pizza from one of the "real" Chicago Deep Dish restaurants in the city. Fresh dough made daily and it shows!

The best pizza and they're open late. The only area that could be improved is their customer service.

First off I never do this, that's how disappointed I am. Second, I've worked in the food industry for 9 years, so I know a thing or two about food service and EXPECTING HIGH VOLUME of customers. I can understand that it's new years eve and roads aren't super, so. It'll probably be busy. Atleast tell people ordering they're backed up and will be waiting, not "45 minutes to an hour" I waited just over 2 hours for the pizza. Not good to lie to the customers, just bw honest. Also maybe timing orders is a good practice to be learnt there, cause you could tell my food had been sittong for quite some time, entering the danger zone and speeding the growth of bacteria. Here is a gem as well, I order ranch dip (god knows what I was charged) and their "Dip" is a small ranch DRESSING packet you'd find FOR FREE at a salad bar. If you are going to charge almost 40 dollars for a medium 2 topping (that was room temperature at best and 9 wings (that were ice cold and not stored in a proper manner) then maybe get out of the food industry. I was still going to tip despite time and knowing food quality would be poor at this point, until I ask the drive "how has the night been" he replies "busy, very busy, you're lucky." Lucky That I only waited 2 hours and are paying 40 dollars for poor quality? Maybe I am. 3 stars for optimism, 1 star for service and food quality. I am currently reheating ALL my food in the oven. Regardless, I recommend NOT ordering here as price is super high for low quality. Sad cause I always rather support local chain or small guys over corporations, but places like this may give small shops the bad name.

27 dollars for a medium pizza I had delivered. Quality was meh, almost nothing on the vegetarian, and definitely would have appreciated more pizza sauce. Otherwise it's just cheese and crust, which is kind of gross. I feel like the quality could have been better for the price.

I gave detailed directions over the phone about my address, but the delivery guy ignored them and disturbed the neighbours and insisted they pay for my pizza. When I came out, the delivery guy seemed very confused, and then insisted that I at least tell them about a unit with a separate entrance next time I order. I'm like, "actually I did" lol. My neighbor was like "Wow, I'm gonna go now".

I don't want to disturb my neighbors every time I order pizza, so I will try a different pizza place next time. I wouldn't really recommend these guys to anyone really, unless it's simple. Basically if you have a special request, they're gonna mess it up.
