Our kids making their bags for Valentine’s Day ♥️
We have purchased a few extra boxes for families who may have forgotten. Please reach out to us tomorrow and we can put a box of Valentine’s Day cards in your child’s backpack.
*This is a GREAT way to support writing at home. Even if your child cannot do all letters 100%, that’s ok! It’s a perfect time to practice*

NEW HIRE !
We are excited to have Erica Cree join our team!
“Hello, my name is Erica Cree and I am a member of the Fort McMurray #468 First Nation. I have worked at Bill Woodward School/ Anzac School as a substitute for grades 2/3 and have experience as an educational assistant. I have been going to Keyano College on and off since 2014 in pursuit of my Bachelor of Education. I have my Child Care Certificate as well as ASSIST, Mental Health for adults who interact with youth and my Emergency Services Certificate. I enjoy skiing, snowboarding, writing, reading, and make up artistry. I would like to thank Jennifer Van Der Voort and Tanya Vardy for hiring me for this position. I am so excited to be working with the youth in my community and I can’t wait to be an inspiration for the children I will be working with.”

Do you let your kids serve themselves?! It’s a great way to build independence and support healthy eating.

Dental hygiene is very important! Just because your little ones will lose their baby teeth, doesn’t mean they don’t need to be taken care of. Keeping teeth and gums clean will help will long term dental health. 🦷
Dentist recommended brushing 2-3 times per day.
