Have you heard? Santa is going to be visiting the Nanton Fire Hall this afternoon to take pictures with all the children in the community! Our staff at the Nanton Branch will also be there serving free hot dogs and hot chocolate to all the attendees! We hope to see you there! 🎅

The Strathmore branch wanted to spread some holiday cheer this year by working with the Joyland Movie Theatre to provide movie passes and vouchers for small popcorns to add to a number of Christmas hampers from the Strathmore & Wheatland County Christmas Hamper Society. Thanks for working with us on this holiday initiative!

Chinook Financial's Drumheller Branch is asking the community to join them as they work to fill their Christmas Sleigh with items that will be donated to the Salvation Army in order to provide others with a warm and cozy Holiday season.
They are excited to get everyone involved, so they are issuing a challenge to the other local businesses to do the same. They will provide you with a donation box and ask you to challenge your staff, coworkers, and customers to give back to t...he members of the community that may be in need this time of year. Chinook Financial will also have a sleigh set up right in the Drumheller branch that they are hoping to fill with food, clothes, and toys.
On November 26th from 2-4pm, Chinook Financial will be downtown Drumheller with a sleigh and the help of some special guests en route to pick up all donations made at the other businesses.
All items collected will then be donated to the Salvation Army to be distributed throughout the Drumheller community.

The Fort Macleod Branch has placed some boxes in their branch in hopes to fill them up with some items that we can send to our local detox centre. The Foothills Centre Detox and Transition Program is designed for motivated individuals who are committed to making a positive change in their lives. The program supports individuals by providing tools to begin and maintain the first stages of recovery, and to encourage confidence and growth within each individuals. The OPIOD Cris...es is especially affecting the people around our town. There is no doubt there is a high demand for healing and support for those with addictions. We believe if we continue serving in selfless and caring way the Foothills Alcohol Action Society will continue to be a beacon of hope and love.
This drive will run until November 30th. 2018
