Chinook Valley Golf Course

We would really like to thank our members who bundled up and braved the cold on Saturday for our closing tournament, and the men who did the same yesterday for their league closing tournament. We know this September hasn’t been a great month for golfing due to weather, but we really appreciate everyone who has supported us this season! Unfortunately the course is now officially closed for the season ☹️ The clubhouse will be open from 10-2 for lunch until Thursday October 4th. If there is anyone that still needs to pay off their tab and cannot make it during these hours, please contact us to make other arrangements. Thanks again everyone for another great season here at Chinook Valley! ⛳️

Saturday September 29th we have our Members Closing Tournament! Tee off at 12 pm for 18 holes of golf, followed by prizes and supper! The cost is $30 for members, and $50 for non-members. We have also decided to move our Men’s League Closing Tournament from this Saturday to Sunday September 30th. Tee off is also at 12 pm. Please call the clubhouse to sign up for either tournament!

Tomorrow we will be open from 10-6 for those who would like to come out and golf in the afternoon! We are hoping the weather will cooperate with us for the rest of the month so everyone can enjoy a few more rounds of golf! Starting Wednesday the clubhouse will return to normal hours and will be open at 9:30 am daily.

We would like to thank everyone who came out and supported the Kinettes Hole-In-One Tournament in the rainy weather yesterday, and the Birchcliff Tournament on Friday which raised funds for Stars. It’s been a busy few days here at Chinook Valley! We are closed early today due to weather. We will be open for limited hours this week, depending on weather, so check back for updates on our daily hours.

Tonight is our last organized ladies night for the season, and also bring a friend night! This means 50% off green fees to non-members joining us for ladies night. Tonight our special is an appy trio of garlic shrimp, stuffed mushrooms & breaded cauliflower in a thai sauce, with peanut butter layer dessert! The drink special is sangria 🍷 The sun is finally shining after a frosty morning so we hope to see a few ladies out tonight!

Tonight on special we have individual pizzas! Your choice of meat lovers or sweet & spicy chicken, with a side of Caesar salad, and turtle brownies for dessert! Our drink special is a Seabreeze. Hope to see a few ladies out to enjoy the last bit of summer!

The Hole-In-One Tournament is less than 2 weeks away! Registration is filling up quickly so be sure to call the clubhouse to register a team, or to register as an individual!

Tonight’s special is a Steak Sandwich (with Swiss cheese, tangy mustard, spinach, and onion rings) with a side of Potato Wedges and Apple Vinegar Slaw, and Frozen Raspberry Lemonade Dessert, for $15.95. The drink special tonight is a Vodka Slime!

Coming up in 2 weeks we have our Ladies Year End Tourny. You don’t have to be a part of ladies league to join this tournament- all ladies are welcome! There will be prizes, supper, and lots of fun to be had! Check out the event for more information 😊

Our Glowball Tournament tomorrow has been cancelled ☹️ The course will be open for tee times. We also have a couple campsites that have opened up for this long weekend if you’d like to spend it camping & golfing in this beautiful weather!

Our next upcoming tournament is the Glow Ball Tourny on Friday August 3rd! It includes 9 holes in the daylight & 9 in the dark. The cost is $50/person. The format is 4 ball scramble, and there must be a minimum of 1 female per team. Registration starts at 6 pm with a 6:30 shotgun start. In between rounds there will be a midnight lunch and prizes. Call the clubhouse to sign a team up!

I enjoy this course a lot, well taken care of and friendly staff. I just had my stag party there and everything was Excellent. The steak dinner Saturday night was over the top and very accommodating. If you are thinking about camping there and playing some golf, or just going for a round I highly recommend it. Two big thumbs up!! And Thank You again to the staff at Chinook Valley for everything!
