Chipman Horsemanship

After judging for the summer throughout BC & Alberta, I've found that across the board and for every age, there is a GREAT need for some showmanship clinics. This class is so important because it sets the tone for the entire day.
So let's get going this winter!! Message me for more information on booking a showmanship clinic!

It was great fun judging the last ever MAGEC show yesterday!! All the people involved work so hard to make sure everyone has a great time, and I think they succedded in that!
It's been a great and busy summer of judging, can't wait for next year!!

I had a great time judging the North Peace Fall Fair horse show in Fort St John last weekend! Big classes, gorgeous weather! Congrats to all the competitors!

Yesterday was a smashing success!! Thanks to all who came to show, we couldn't exist without you! The rain held off just enough to get trail done and thank you to Janice Lorieau for braving the outdoors to judge it! Thanks to Laura Menapace who absoloutly rocked her first time being a ring steward! Big thank you to our judge Deana Bjornson who was quick and efficient!! To everyone who helped out in any way, Kristin, Terri, Laura, Diane, James, Marc, you guys are the best 😊
Bi...ggest thank you to my husband who supports me putting this show on 2 hours away from home when I don't even have horses anymore! It's very special to be able to stay involved in the community where I can ❤️

Weather permitting, trail will be running outside from 10-lunch!!
And we will be having our loonie BBQ again so bring some change for lunch!!

Let's talk versatility pleasure!
You start the class in western, and proceed as a normal western pleasure class. When that is finished, you dismount your horse and an assistant runs in the arena and helps you switch clothes and tack into English. Then you remount, and proceed as a normal English Pleasure class.
You can be sneaky by wearing your English clothes underneath your western, and only switching a few things on yourself.
... It's a super fun class and it is a chance to demonstrate the differences in movement and carriage from western to English.

I'm so excited for some new classes this year!!
Versatility pleasure, a personal favorite where you begin the class in western, and switch halfway through to English!
Yearling halter & lunge line- a chance to get those sweet young things in the ring!
... Stakes class- another favorite, high stakes winner takes all pleasure class!
And of course we kept the classics! Can't wait to see you guys there!!
