Chop Steakhouse & Bar

Very friendly service here, great food for lunch. I had the open face sandwich, which was amazing, covered in peppercorn sauce. They Place is quiet at lunch, and a lovely open atmosphere. Good location, close to hotels and a number of industrial locations.

Prices would be considered fair had they delivered on expectations. Caesar salad looked like it came from Wendy's. Steak was over done but nobody bothered to check. Servers were hard to locate. We had a larger table so they may have avoided us to allow for conversation. Beverages were top notch. Great wine list. Great timing. Work on app presentation and service levels. For $200 for 2 people you would expect a high level of service and food quality. Considering this is the "Test Kitchen" they would pull out all the stops. Atmosphere is lovely. Great music and vibe. Restaurant was not overly busy and seemed about 1/4 full.

We were out for dinner last night with our nana and her sister, both over 80. We were sitting beside a bigger group of people (normally no problem) but Nana is very soft spoken so it was hard to hear her and vice versa. She was flying back home to NB so this was our last visit with her in a while. We asked Norm (who was phenomenal) if we could be seated at the back so we can hear each other. He got the manager on duty and quickly helped us by taking our request. I know it is not always acceptable to move tables once you are seated, but it was great of them to do so. We asked if Norm could stay serving us because he was just lovely in every aspect. Thank you for looking after your customers and making them happy.

Had a birthday dinner for my dad last weekend at Chop. The restaurant it self is super cool, the service was also very good. But the food was disappointing this visit. Veggies were over cooked, salads were over dressed and meat was cold. Wish for the price it needs to be better. But they can always work on it and we will try again and hope for the best

Ultra friendly staff and management as we met the crew throughout our dinner. Greeted right away and sat at a nice and comfy table. Staff was attentive and our meals and drinks were excellent. They made our young one feel special and took extra time to make sure he was happy. Looks to be a very new location and it did not disappoint.

This place is beautifully decorated , the staff are friendly , knowledgeable and the food is amazing ! The menu is a bit pricier but worth it for a nice night out .

I love this place, new, nice decor and beautiful lay out. I do like the private room for our meeting. Food is awesome and the price is right. I definitely will come back.

We went here for our anniversary, and were blown away by the experience. Not only did our waitress bring over a "Happy Anniversary!" card that was signed by multiple staff members, we were also treated to complimentary glasses of champagne with our dessert. Completely unexpectedly wonderful. On top of that, our waitress was personable and attentive, and our steak dinners were both cooked perfectly to our liking. I'm pretty glad that my spouse and I had our first date at Chop if it means we can keep coming back here year after year for our anniversary!

A fast food steak in a nice atmosphere. Waitress was good. 3 of us in our party, all had steaks, all 3 had to do surgery on them to remove all the gristle and fat. Half the portion left on the plates as waste. Food was room temp when we received it, we were told they had "a few large parties before us".
