Well, how do you start a review for Chucks Steakhouse?!

We've visited Banff on vacation for the past few years and we are big foodies. We love nothing more than great food and service.



Chucks Steakhouse delivers this beyond any expectations. From the moment you walk through the door, you feel so welcome and are treated like you've visited many times before.



The service is just outstanding, Matt was so friendly and his knowledge on the food and wines were just commendable and that also goes of course, for Steve the General Manager whonis extrexely polite and welcoming.



Now to the food, in one word...Wow!!



We ended up dining here numerous times on our vacation, because it was so exceptional. Not only because we love great food and service, but also it's great value for money for surperb quality.



The menu is so varied, and for any steak lover - just awesome! The sides are delious and generous in size and great value. OMG..totally recommend the Wagyu Dumplings as an appy.



The whole menu is just amazing! If we could, we would of eaten our way through the entire menu. Overall, we would totally recomment Chucks Steakhouse to ANYONE!! Great place. Great people. Relaxed atmosphere. But a little fancy....just as we like it!!

We had a wonderful experience at Chuck's Steakhouse during our vacation in Banff. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant and I'll definitely be going back.

To start off, our server was awesome, great attitude and added a bit of comedy to the experience. The steak was cooked to perfection, the sides perfect as well. The server was very accommodating to recommending things on the menu and had a good knowledge of all of the different items.



Atmosphere was great as well, a true cowboy steakhouse. The girlfriend had salmon and also enjoyed it. Would definitely visit here again, a bit on the pricey side but the portions speak for the price. And Caesar salad made right in front of you from scratch table side!

This meal was in my top 5 of all time! Atmosphere, decor, views and service were spectacular! We had the waygu beef and shrimp dumplings for a starter- they were good but the sauce made them great! Our steaks were cooked absolutely perfectly- great flavor - no need for steak sauce! Sides included the asparagus, large stalks but still tender- nothing really special though. However- the corn brûlée was to die for and the main cheese croquettes were scrumptious plus provided that bit of starchy carbs and some crunch. For dessert we did the coconut pana cotta. While not my cup of tea, it was light and refreshing after a heavy meal and the presentation was nice. I can’t wait to go back to Chucks when we are in town again!

This is a must visit place, to any steak lover. Definately one of my top 3 places to go. the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food was absolutely Fantastic. It can be a litte expensive for a first timer hiwever i highly recommend going with friends and sharing a meal. its well worth it. Make sure you book in advance. reservations are highly recommended.

Taking a taxi to The Keg and our cab driver told us we couldn't leave Alberta without a steak from Chuck's

He said we could go to the Keg anywhere!



This has been the absolute BEST steak experience ever!



From the hostess to our amazing server right down to seriously the best piece of Alberta beef I've ever had!!



I would fly clear across the country again just for one more bite.

Everything was perfect from the atmosphere the server and the food. We had a 3 course dinner for $40 each and it was well worth it.

Everything about our evening at Chucks was amazing. The food was unbelievable. Our server Matt made our experience even better. He really knew how to give us space but also be there to guide us on the food and drinks menu. We really enjoyed our evening at Chucks , would go back anytime !

Best steak house I have ever been to. The ambiance, service and overall experience is memorable. And the food......... Wow

After a disappointing experience with Ramsay's Steakhouse in Las Vegas, I had very low expectations going in; however, my faith was very quickly restored, thanks in large part to our server, Jess. We followed her recommendations, and we were not disappointed. The service was amazing, and the food was, without question, the best we have ever had. I never write public reviews, but I had to make an exception. We will be making it a point to come back every time we pass through Banff. I would recommend that everyone that finds themselves in the area does the same.

I've ate a lot of high end steak joints. This was not the experience I was told about. Service was excellent but the food was definitely not more than a three star meal. I appreciate the ambiance and theme, but will seek my steak elsewhere while in Banff.

Wouldnt give us the time if day! But then if you are a traveler and don't make reservations well in advance, you can't get in! Oh well, home we go!

This is the third time I’ve eaten at Chucks and I was so disappointed. The quality has really gone down hill. I was a big fan defending the food and service when other locals complained they had a bad experience. Now I’m on that side of the fence. Food was cold. The cheesecake was pathetic. Shame.
