Always giving me so much trouble

Very unorganized and lack training.
Trying to up sale and not customer focused!

The staff is great but manager should not be a manger. We needed some assistance / advice with moving some funds around the manger said to keep our investments with the bank because a financial planner may not direct the funds properly and he convinced us how he can help but after several non returned voicemails and unreplied emails we gave up. It looks like once we stayed with the bank the manager moved on to his next prey. Months later we again went to research a business account and another staff ended up asking the same manager to help but he talked to us as if we were trying to scam CIBC when we asked if CIBC had a matching business account plan as RBC. We were quite offended to the way he treated us and ended up taking our business to RBC. The manager is arrogant and caters only to his community of people.

This branch constantly gives me a run around. They cannot cash simple cheques and make me stand and wait for 10-15 minutes while they talk about my account in another language. Last time I checked, we are in Canada and when you discuss an English speaking Canadian's bank issues with someone else it should be in the PRIMARY LANGUAGE OF CANADA! This was my last straw with this branch, and I will not be returning. The pure ignorance and rude attitude of the branch manager is ridiculous, and she really needs to work on her customer service skills. I have put in an investigation with the head office, but until something is changed I will not recommend this branch to others.

On a side note: The mortgage specialists and other tellers harass customers and try to force services that are 100% unnecessary. This branch really needs to realize that scamming people is not a way to make money, and perhaps there are unrealistic targets enforced my management to the lower level employees.
