Cineplex Odeon

It's the only place my husband and I go for date night movies now! Comfy seats, armrests that raise up, delicious food, just overall a great experience! We always get our tickets free with scene points so it ends up being a not too expensive night out.

Great place for a date night. Good seating and the food and drinks are good too! Staff is a little slow though

The seats are worth the extra price alone. Especially if you are watching a movie over 2 hours. The food is not spectacular but tasty and fast. It is way better than the normal candy and popcorn you normally get. The wine is good and I found the service reasonably quick.

I'll start with the good, the seats are comfy, the service is great, and it's neat being able to eat real food during a movie. You get there and can hang out in the lounge before your movie, where you can order food and drinks and wait in comfort. When your theatre is ready you can go in, find your seat and choose from the menu. A server takes your order and you have to pay right away. They then bring your order before your movie starts and you get to eat in the dark while watching.

The bad. VIP tickets are twice the cost of regular tickets, the seats are about the same as a normal theater, but with little tables. Drinks are average bar costs ($8 to $10 for cocktails, wine, beer) and are a
decent size/quality, the food prices are average ($15 for burgers range) but really mediocre. Our fries were stale and like styrofoam in the middle, and the sweat potato fries were raw and crunchy inside. My wrap has a weird flavour, but it was so dark I couldn't figure out what it was.

It cost us $130 for 2 tickets, 2 drinks, 1 appetizer, 2 entree's. While a neat experience, we won't do it again.

Last night my wife and I bought the Date Night deal where you get 2 tickets for VIP, an appetizer, two entrees and a dessert for $74. We get there at 10, movie was at 10:30. Tried to flag someone down to take our order but there were only 2 people taking orders and we asked one of the staff that were bringing in orders if we could just order at the kiosk outside the theater but he dismissed us and said we have to wait.

We were then told that they were restrictions on what we could order, no big deal just wish that the deal was more clear on this restriction. We get our order about 15 minutes into the movie starting (10:50) which wasn't too bad but the food was cold, my wife's fries were still raw and the 8 dollar pop was mostly carbonated water.

Overall, we were very dissatisfied for the price, 80 dollars wasted. Save your money and just go for one of their normal shows and buy something on the way, at least they can ensure your food is fully cooked and warm.

I use vip theatre quite a bit. This is the first time i was uhappy with the service. After we sat down there was only a few minutes til service ended and for about 5 mins 3 or 4 servers stood and chatted at the bottom of the stairs while 1 stood halfway up the stairs and after y minutes of waiting for all of the servers i had to flag one down. Just before the service ended. Maybe if the staff stopped talking and worried about the cutomers they might get a good tip.

??? I paid $25 for a ticket just to sit in a big chair. I am vegan and could not order a single thing off of the menu. Every single item on the menu had either meat or cheese. Even the salads. It's 2017 step up your game and get more plant based healthy options. Compete waste of money.

Total crap the managers and food and services were way below ANY other cineplex and the employees literally watched one of their own have health issues and just took out their phones and took pictures and laughed. Management did not know how to provide first aid or take proper care of the employee and denied assistance. They also scolded and made a public display out of an employee in front of the customers and have altered contract deals and not notified or asked the contractor to authorize any changes.

-3 stars. The only thing good about this theatre was the seats are nice in the VIP.

Huge fancy place, tons of people and noise! The theatre was nice and clean, the show wonderful. We went VIP for our movie, and as nice as it is to get food delivered to your seat.... the seats aren't as comfortable as they're advertised to be. I would not spend the extra money to do it again, plus the VIP lounge was crazy loud and tough to navigate due to drunk party goers. Not exactly my cup of tea, but worth experiencing once.
