Circle L Performance Horses stared with the idea of a breeding program that targeted the all around arena horse. Breeding prospects that have the run to be a barrel horse, the stop and cow instinct of a rope horse and the disposition and mind to be a ranch or family horse. No program can be successful without a solid foundation - a strong stallion and amazing mare power!

We kicked off our program with the purchase of Frenchmans Dot Com as a yearling stallion from the Myers Sale in 2005. Over the next 7yrs we started building up our mare herd with bloodlines such as Mr Eye Opener, Royal Quick Dash, First Down Dash, Victory Dash, Givemalickin, Joe Douglas, Frenchmans Buck and Classic Jack. When our stallion Frenchmans Dot Com passed away in 2012 we really had to regroup and decide what direction we wanted to take next.
We focused on taking a similar route as far as breeding goes as we really like Sun Frost bred horses. They are exceptional athletes in the arena and out and above all have amazing minds and dispositions. In the winter of 2012 we came across a young stallion that we couldn't pass up and with that we are proud to now stand Frenchmans Mystique! !

We currently reside on an acreage in Southern Alberta outside of a small rural town, Champion.
We have a number of young prospects out of Frenchmans Mystique as well as a few exceptional prospects out of the late Frenchmans Dot Com.
We always welcome visitors, whether it be for a quick visit or an extended tour though our horse herd. Our gate is always open and the kids are always willing to chat your ear off about our horses!
