I wonder if the vet even like dogs and cats. No greeting, no petting, no nothing... The vet seems like he is scared of dogs. The usual vet we go always hugs and kisses our big boy. Constantly talks to him to make him feel comfortable, so my dog likes to go to the vet but not here.

The staff and doctor at this clinic are both caring and understanding. They take care of whatever problem there may be and won't rip you off. I live in Calgary and they are worth the trip. The doctor is very matter of fact, but not rude. I had gone to 4 other vets offices for a quote on some very much needed dental work and these guys not only made me feel that I was making the right decision, but also did not take me for my money.
Thank you!

Incredible service and care! We were asked only once if we wanted our pup neutered and said no, we didn't. Unlike EVERY other vet we have tried, we have never been asked again and they respect your decision. Our boy is a Staffy, a lot of vets in Alberta don't know a thing about them and have asked us in the past to muzzle??! Not this vet! He is confident and at ease when handling our boy and we so appreciate this. Fees for service and shots are great. I would recommend this clinic in a heart beat!

We had a very sick cat, and we were on vacation staying with family. They recommended this vet, so we brought him in for a second opinion. They put us at ease and did what they could for our little guy, very supportive and caring even when there was little hope for him. We did have to put him down, and they ended up mailing us a sympathy card. Very touching. Only four stars because I found they didn't communicate very well. They said they'd call and give us updates when he was hospitalized, and when his ashes were ready, but never got one call the whole time. We called/came in to check on him every time. Highly recommend this place to anyone despite the contact effort.

TERRIBLE INDIAN VET
We had an emergency for my little pup and the fastest appointment they had was three hours later, my bf took her in and they waited 45 mins to see a nurse, not even a vet even after we told them how urgent her health was. The lady at the front desk and the indian vet didn't seem to like animals at all. The indian vet was very rude, just wanted our money and didn't care to find other solutions for our dog. He kept telling her to hush and be quiet while she was crying and in pain. NEVER GOING BACK! They told us we would have to come back the day after and never even made us an appointment. If it wasn't the only place open on sunday we would have never gone. DO NOT GO HERE.

Amazing! Was able to get in the next day (Saturday of the long weekend) to have our dog neutered after he started roaming. They were extremely friendly and professional. Treated our dog with such kindness. Took the time to explain everything to me. The prices were very competitive - best in the area. Will start taking my other animals here as well. Thanks!

We are so thankful to have Dr.Chander in Airdrie, especially with 24/7 care! Our dog has been in twice for his injured foot, the first time being on a Sunday and the second he came in at 3pm and stayed with Dr.Chander for a procedure and I picked him up at 8pm that same day. Dr.Chanders care for his injury has been amazing! He is very knowledgeable, and compassionate. You can tell he cares about animals very much. He makes me, as a dog owner feel at ease, he is straight forward on all procedures and up front on pricing. He will not recommend things you do not need and try to rack up the bill like other vets. Quite the opposite, his prices are fantastic. Him and his staff are so friendly and the clinic is immaculate! I will not hesitate to take all of my animals to see him in the future.

Our cat was declawed at Apex and they sent her home with paper for litter. Literally shredded paper. She peed at 930pm and it just pooled in the pan around the paper, it burned her poor feet and caused her to start tearing at her feet.

The cone they gave her was so small that she could literally still put her foot in her mouth to bite and lick her wounds!!! We called city Centre animal clinic at 958pm to get a new cone when Saber pulled her bandages off and started licking her feet. They said they'd wait for me, even though they close at 10.

5 minutes later, I'm 1 block away from my house and my hubby calls me in a panic that Saber is now bleeding severely and to turn around and bring her to the kitty doctor. I turn around while calling the vet and the nurse/receptionist calls the vet to get back into the clinic even though he just left and they were officially closed now.

Saber gets in there, they sedated her, rebandaged her and kept her 24 more hours to be safe. They showed us the proper litter she needed, and told us they keep kitties 2 days with a declaw, not just 1 and it would've only been $60 more to start with. Now we paid $200 at Apex and then $225 here fixing the Apex mess. All our 4 pets are switching to this clinic now and Apex is probably getting a small claims suit filed for the mishandling of pet care.
