Claresholm Food Bank

Welcome to the Claresholm Food Bank and Outreach Society page! Please like us to keep informed on our work to offer a helping hand to those in need.

The Claresholm Food Bank provides service to those in need within the towns of Claresholm, Stavely, and the surrounding MD of Willow Creek. If you, or someone you know could use some help with food, here's what you need to know:

- All recipients of food hampers are to receive fair and equal treatment, regardless of race, colour, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, marital or family status or disability, and are to be treated with courtesy and respect

- The only current requirement for obtaining a hamper is proof of residency; bring a piece of mail with your current address, and also some form of government ID (i. e. driver's license, Alberta health, etc. )

- We will provide 1 (one) food hamper per month of non-perishable food items, and weekly supplementary food packages with fresh food items

- Expectant and recent (nursing) mothers will be provided with additional support whenever possible; i. e. special nutritional concerns, formula, diapers, etc.

- The Food Bank is open on Wed. mornings from 9 am to 12 pm, and on Thurs. evenings from 6 pm to 7: 30 pm
