This place is absolutely Amazing!! And in a very good location that it is needed. I feel it is going to help alot of low income teens stay out of trouble. Great for people of all ages! The library has a great view of the pool my kids love it and there are multiple pools for all ages as well. Thank you City of Edmonton!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. As I was working out I was unsure how to do squats properly. in the past my tailbone hurt while trying to do the squats the way I thought was correct, so i randomly asked a staff there for help. And I believe he goes by the name of Larry or something. he was awesome! He taught me how to squat properly and to use a different machine.

The pool was great fun if you have kids. I really like the locker rooms - we went into the family change room. The lockers have number combinations instead of coin lockers. Much more convenient if you have two parents.

My daughter and I have just recently started going to the Clareview Rec Centre and we really love it. We go to the gym and have a workout and then to end it off we go for a swim, and a soak in the lazy river & hot tub. A great way to spend a day off.

User

I love this place!!! I am there almost every day and I have not had a bad experience yet. I absolutely love the yoga instructors...they always make you feel welcomed and always take the time to listen to the students needs!! Zumba is an absolute must at this facility!! The Zumba classes are always well taught and so much fun!!

User

ALL STAFF are Amazing and well educated. It is still a business of the city and there are rules and rules should be followed. I see some people making bad reviews about the Staff and I have to say myself that Life Gaurd have to on "Gaurd" for everything in that gigantic swimming area. I child could slip and Fall if not being close to their parents o I'm sure there must have been other things added to the situation. As a person who uses the facility daily.. the Weight room religiously and pool on occsssion I can attest that ALL the Staff are Amazing and they are just doing there jobs!

The Facility is clean..well maintained..and a real joyful experience even on the worst of days! I enjoy training thouroughly at this Facility!

Thank you...To the Staff!

We usually play badminton there and I see that they always try to accommodate both badminton and basketball players , which is great . Few things that I don't like about this place is the inconvenience caused by the booking of the basketball court. One of the staff even came up with an excuse that the people who book ,pay a significantly more money than others. Well how is that justifiable when 15 or 20 people have been denied the right to use the whole area. I am sure that 80$/hr is way less than 10 people paying around 15 each =150$.

Love the facility! My daughter loves the indoor playground. They have a very strict socks only rule which is totally understandable. Little kids are playing there, they are trying to maintain a level of cleanliness. Would you want your kid to be crawling all over some dirty floor? There are however some parents who think they are above this rule though because they have "indoor" shoes on. Come on please people, let's fu*king follow the damn rules here, what the hell are you teaching your kids if you can't even abide by a simple rule? There are even signs that clearly says "SOCKS ONLY" and if you don't have them, you can buy a pair for $1.50 at the front desk or run across the street to Walmart to get a 6pk. That's what we did. Don't go giving the attendant a hard time how you can't watch your kid playing because you are not allowed inside. I'm giving 4 stars only because the freaking lifeguard was arguing with the playground attendant why the "parent" is not allowed in with his stupid indoor shoes. Seriously, I wonder how that idiot lifeguard would feel if everyone challenged him on the rules at the pool.

It's a great place it's big clean and lots to do but price is a little too high for my likings. You have to pay $11.25 per today and you have access to all what they serve but I don't swim I don't go to the gym I don't do other stuff all I wanted to do is play basketball yes you can leave and come back if you have the bracelet but when you live on the south side you don't want to come back. Plus when you only want to go to for 45 minutes to an hour it's not worth the $11.25 will I be back I'm not too sure what I recommend this place to anybody of course it's a great place but like I said price is too high..

I'm a personal trainer and I love the fact that I'm able to train out of all Edmonton facilities. Clareview has MORE than enough gym space and equipment to train my clients. Everything is modern and well maintained. I couldn't be happier.

User

Great facility built in a wrong area. My family & I used to go to St Albert but now we have our own near our house but crime rate I've seen in that facility is embarrassing. Stealing & break-ins in Lockers as well as stealing shoes & break-ins in Vehicles in parking lots disgust me. They stole my daughter's jacket and was never found in one of the Skating Rink dressing rooms. I wish they can only allow people who have business to do in there. Security has to be increased.

User

The gym facilities are great. However it's very frustrating that several times over the last few months the lane swim has been closed I am assuming due to water quality (water looks green all the time). The city should reimburse yearly members like myself for the amount of times the pool has been closed. Then once they fix the water issue they will get a higher rating.

User

This place is a joke! Security guards have no problem punching kids in the face and choking them ! Telling my little brother they are going to get thrown in the back of their truck and they won't make it home! This place is for kids to go enjoy themselves not to get beat up by grown men ! Check your security clairview this is unacceptable!

User

The change rooms are dirty and cold. And the pool area is very slippery so you got to walk very slow I've almost wiped out on my ass a few times. And the pool is not necessarily the cleanest for example there still a Dirt Pile in the corner of one of the pools for the past 3 months. The gym is amazing the pool can you some work

User

Rudest staff I've ever encountered!! My child accidentally went out of arms reach and I was threatened to be kicked out....but the mom beside me who couldn't control her 9 kids was over looked. Taking a picture of my child zoomed in to just him as I didn't want other peoples kids in my pic!! And again, threatened to be kicked out!!....as a dad walked by with a camera on his wrist.Too many life guards on a power trip! Never again :(
