I am an advocate for health and contributing to people by continually learning and incorporating more healthful choices into our day-to-day lives - and I get that we can each only do so much. Life is a journey in practices and we are human after all. . . and then there's chocolate!

I'm super-passionate about skincare and natural products because of a condition I developed when working in contact with chemicals. At that time, I was completely naive about the cosmetics industry and what ingredients {Read: chemicals and preservatives} are in the soaps, lotions and creams sold in grocers, drug stores and specialty shops.

My condition lead me down a road of trial and error, research and discovery. Over time, the list of products I could use on my skin became more and more narrow and my skin would burn and sting as it bubbled and peeled off in layers. My skin was raw and stinging and I was at my wit's end. That is when I discovered essential oils and natural products and found that the fewer ingredients and the more natural a product, the less likely I was to react.

Now, I look at that experience as a blessing of sorts - my body reacted to show me that I needed to find a new path! Now I make my own moisturizers and use essential oils to promote healthy cell regeneration, and glowing beautiful (and chemical-free) skin! I use them to boost the immunity of myself and my son, compliment the food choices I make and to clean and refresh my home.
