These guys are awesome. Nice guys, fast, efficient, well priced.

Our furnace stopped working the evening before cold weather was due to roll in. I phoned Dean around 8:30 PM, he was out to dinner with his family and said he'd be there in half an hour and he was. He had the furnace working in about 20 minutes. It was expensive but I expected it to be, it's an emergency call after all. Definitely recommend Climate Change.

Quick response.....however, he happened to have the expensive part with him which made me suspicious. Not even convinced he changed the part cause the furnace still doesn't run well.

He said he'll get me a quote on the parts first thing next morning. 48 hours later in -20 I haven't heard from him. He also told me I'm a smart guy, he would give me a discount on the parts and I could do the WORK BY MYSELF BY MY SELF AND TAKE THE GAS LINE APPART to replace a part. I'm no expert but I'm quite sure you have to be trained and certified to do that kind of work. That's how people die! And in the hour he spent trying to "jimmy rig" my furnace, he spent 30minutes of his time quoting another job and took care of 4 customers. If you know "Sol" the lawyer from the TV series Breaking Bad. That is the kind of guy Dean Fleming is. He's just there to take your money with crapy service.

We used this company for our air conditioning and we're pleased with the service. We then decided to have our furnace cleaned with them and unfortunately the experience was much different. There was a huge communication issue and even worse was the way they resolved it. I would not recommend this company as it seems as time goes on they are loosing touch with what there business was advertised to be built on.



Very disappointed

This company does not operate in a professional manner and will not stand by their warranty. In fact, they won't even discuss their "warranty" because when I mentioned having a problem with the air conditioner they installed they hung up on me when I requested an appointment to discuss their workmanship! Do not deal with this company!

They replaced our furnace and assured us they would be there to service it which has not been the case. They make promises and fail to follow through.

Installed new furnace in December, wouldn't put the cap on the roof because of a safety issue, refused to even do it in June, after numerous no show appointments and Dean repeatedly hanging up on us, they finally showed up at random to complete the job. Now that it's cold again, the furnace quit working and in trying to book them to come and fix it he won't give me a day or time and hangs up every time we call to get an answer. It's cold and they won't come the day of at anytime to fix it. They say 24/7 customer service but clearly not. It's also "our fault" that we didn't call sooner?! He notoriously hangs up on us, doesn't show up to appointments, horrible customer service, and is very rude. We have since called someone else to fix the furnace, at which point they told us that "Climate Change Dean" keeps changing his business name. Now what does THAT tell you! Don't hire these guys! RUN!

In Dec. 2, 2015, I had a new furnace installed by Climate Change YYC. All was good, and the technicians were very friendly.

Since then, things have changed dramatically!! A house inspection pointed out that there were lose connections and some leakage inside the furnace. As well, the humidifier was not working, although the Climate Change technician had assured me that the humidifier had been connected to the new furnace. So, I phoned Climate Change to have the problem taken care of. I had a three year warranty on workmanship. Well......no one showed up on the day of the appointment, and what's worse, no one showed up at the THREE following appointments I subsequently made. Not even a phone call to warn me that they were not able to make it! So much for services .......

Eventually, getting pretty desperate, I phoned another company, Fagnan's Furnace Services (403-272-0443) to fix the mistakes made by Climate Change. They did an excellent job. Of course, I paid the full price, missing out on the warranty.



Needless to say, I'm very disappointed in Climate Change. It's easy to be friendly and helpful when it comes to selling big ticket equipment, but it's still the services provided (or not) that make or break a company.

I have never been more disappointed in a service provider as I have been with Climate Change Heating and Cooling. We had Dean come out to look at a problem with our furnance, he apparenlty fixed the problem, but less than two weeks later we had the same problem again. He kept telling us he would be out to fix it, and then would call last minute and say he was running late and it would have to be pushed back. He pushed us back four times yesterday, and then moved the appointment to today. Then, he had his wife TEXT us, rather than show us the professional courtesy of a phone call to say he couldn't come until late Friday. When we expressed our disappointment in the service and communication, we were told it was the best they can do. We then tried to call Dean directly and he refused to answer our calls. Definitely will not use again, nor recommend to any of our friends and family. If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

I had Dean Fleming the owner come in on Monday to have a look at my furnace. He said he doesn't have the parts in his crevice van and charged me 208$ for him to tell me I'm screwed. He said he'll get me a quote on the parts first thing next morning. 48 hours later in -20 I haven't heard from him. He also told me I'm a smart guy, he would give me a discount on the parts and I could do the WORK BY MYSELF BY MY SELF AND TAKE THE GAS LINE APPART to replace a part. I'm no expert but I'm quite sure you have to be trained and certified to do that kind of work. That's how people die! And in the hour he spent trying to "jimmy rig" my furnace, he spent 30minutes of his time quoting another job and took care of 4 customers. If you know "Sol" the lawyer from the TV series Breaking Bad. That is the kind of guy Dean Fleming is. He's just there to take your money with crapy service.
