Heilkunst is a complete system of medicine used to prevent and cure disease. Created by the genius of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann over 200 years ago, the term means 'the art and science of making one whole. ' Heilkunst respects the Hippocratic Oath: "First do no harm, " and is used to treat both acute and chronic conditions as well as to improve overall health of body, mind, soul and spirit.
Heilkunst encompasses three broad areas in the restoration of one's health or wholeness:
Regimen: Diet, Nutrition, exercise, supplements - involving imbalances.
Medicine Proper: Treating true disease with homeopathic remedies.
Therapeutic Education: Involving the deeper issue of the soul and spirit in terms of false beliefs, illusions and delusions, as well as our deepest fears.

Homeopathy is the prescription of medicine based on the law of similars, i. e. , that illness can be treated by a substance capable of producing similar symptoms to those being suffered by the patient. Only the minimum dose needed is given. Only one remedy per disease is given.

Before your initial consultation, you will complete a "sequential timeline" describing the emotional and physical traumas that have occurred through your lifetime. This will become the guide that you and your practitioner will use as a possible roadmap.

The timeline lists events such as vaccinations, long-term use of medication, injuries, surgeries, and emotional trauma. After addressing any acute complaints, your practitioner treats each event on the timeline using remedies that will treat the causes of each event, starting in the present and working back towards birth. With the removal of each layer, some measure of health is restored.
