We're building a professional development platform for physicians. Physicians require ongoing professional development, accruing approximately 100 hours annually. (varies by market) Our core product is designed to address the growing problem of burnout in medicine. 1 /3 - 2 /3 of all physicians are burned out at any given time. Solving this is more complex than simply taking time away, or adjusting priorities /workflow in medicine. There are systemic issues that drive burnout. Our core curriculum is aimed at providing continuing MedEd credits for physicians that will eradicate burnout, and provide the soft skills training (emotional intelligence, self awareness, etc. ) that will allow physicians to better treat and connect with their patients. This will allow better patient outcomes, reduced costs, and lower incidence of medical malpractice. Our model will make PD more accessible. The ease of access aligns well with the need to simplify the responsibilities /tasks that burden physicians.
