Cobblestone Freeway Gift Shop and Gallery is the very first of its kind in Alberta and Western Canada; specializing in promoting and nurturing Ukrainian culture by providing Canadian’s with only the most authentic and original traditional Ukrainian artifacts, art, and clothing.
The gift shop stems from a company that hand-crafts tours to Ukraine and Eastern Europe, bestowing travellers with the ultimate folklore experience. After several successful years, Cobblestone Freeway Tours decided to bring this enriched cultural experience back to Canada, by providing Ukrainian-Canadians with a touch of their motherland, right here on Canadian soil.
Yes, there are other Ukrainian gift shops in Canada, however the Cobblestone Freeway Gift Shop holds a particular purpose that is different than any gift shop in Canada.
They strive for quality in it’s traditional artifacts, seeking to eliminate Ukrainian goods that are ironically, not from Ukraine. For example items such as shawls, embroidery, carved woodwork, jewellery, and other Ukrainian symbolic artifacts are all sought out by gift shop researchers to be made and purchased from top-artists in Ukraine.
Markets and Bazaars tucked deep in Ukraine’s steppes and Carpathian mountains are frequently visited by our curators to ensure the gift shop in Canada is stocked with the best quality and most traditional Ukrainian clothing and artifacts in all of the world.

I inquired about the Maple Leaf Tryzub pendants and received a reply almost immediately. They asked which one I was interested in, sent me pictures and made sure I knew they only had one left in stock. They were on their way to the post office and asked for my information so that it could be shipped to me the same day. The staff at Cobblestone Freeway Gift Shop and Gallery truly know the meaning of customer service!
