Cochrane Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram

Cochrane Dodge Jeep Ram is a hidden gem few minutes West of Calgary. The staff here is amazing and I am very pleased to purchase my vehicle from here. Their play area engaged my kids while I went through the browsing and purchasing process.

Joe Cameron was my sales executive who is very honest, transparent and extremely professional.

I was informed about all my options and Joe also helped me browse through a few more. I didn’t feel any pressure and there is absolutely no ‘after purchase guilt’. All the staff members (reception, parts and finance) are courteous.

I would suggest that you visit them and experience it yourself. It is worth a drive if you live outside of Cochrane.

Whenever we have experienced problems with our vehicles, they have not hesitated to let us know it would be a week or two until they could read the warning light with their scanner. Also, I do not appreciate the unsolicited flyers that arrive at our house constantly and stuck under our windshields while our vehicles are on private property.

I went to Cochrane Dodge today for an appointment and I actually wasn't scheduled for today but the staff were very accommodating for my tight schedule and got me in and out within an hour! wonderful place, wonderful staff. thank you especially to Matthew for making that happen.

The team at Cochrane Dodge are always very polite and take the time to explain what does and does not need doing. They explain the diagnostics clearly, give complete details on the status of my vehicle and allow me to make decisions on what to do now and what can wait/or advice when work needs to be done.
I appreciate their oil change team as well. They will not try to up sell anything and they get me in and out quickly- a great team all around and I am very glad I purchased my vehicle here.

We bought our 2016 ram 1500 from Cochrane dodge. The salesman was clueless. I knew more about the truck than he did. When we went to pick up our new truck the detailing was horrible. I took it home and cleaned ityself properly right after picking the truck up. The salesman didn't even do a walk through of the vehicle with me. When we tried to drive away the truck was blocked in by another sold vehicle. Instead of getting the keys to the other vehicle and moving it he made as drive over a curb/ sidewalk to get by it. The worst service I've ever experienced by any dealership I've ever been to by far. Oh and the best part was he told me and my wife the truck had navigation.....It doesn't. I would rather take it to crowfoot dodge and pay the 600 dollars to have it installed than ever go back here. Take your business elsewhere.

A great experience with Jason and the repair tech, Chris ! After a bad experience with another dealer shop, it was very refreshing to have a service rep. and tech listen to what i was talking about without just "seeing what the computer told them to do" i will definitely be making the drive back to them for service as well as to cody for future purchases!!! BIG thanks to them!!

I have had 2 instances where I have had to use the service department for my vehicle. The first was for fixing a part under warranty. The only good thing about this first experience was the repair was done for free due to its nature; other than that, the repair wasn't completed anywhere close to the promised time. Not only that, I had to call the service department hours after they had promised to contact me to ask why I hadn't heard from them! I was simply given the excuse of "Why good timing, I was just gonna call...you were my first priority today!"

The second experience was just this last week. My engine light came on and so I went to the service bay to get it looked into. I was told they were unable to scan the code because they never have a scanner, despite me asking, and that I would have to book an appointment and pay about 45-60 minutes of the tech's time for them to scan the code (a 5 minute job tops). I booked the appointment for almost a week away, then called the service operator to ask why the service guys don't scan the vehicle when there is an issue (past experience elsewhere had taught me the drive through service guys do scan the engine to help you out and let you know if you need to book an appointment or not, spending on the severity of the error). I was told they do scan if asked but that they would then "have" to reset the code, causing issues for the service techs during the booked appointment. None of it made any sense to me, as I know how these scanners work, and also the advise I was given contradicted what I had already been told when at the dealership.

Needless to say I took it upon myself to find a reader and scan the code myself, just to figure out that it was nothing to worry about...saving myself the time and money that would have been wasted on them.

Now I have heard this dealership is a dream to work with when buying, but their service department is sorely lacking with regards to customer service when something goes wrong with a vehicle. They seem to give the impression that the customer isn't worth their time. Next time I need something done, I'll be driving into Calgary or going to a local shop...but not here again. Especially since the only experiences I have had are negative.

I don't live in Cochrane and don't currently have a Chrysler and I bring my vehicle to Cochrane Dodge when I need my tires changed over - that says it all. The service is unrivaled and will continue to draw me out from Calgary. When I need new tires, I know where to go!
