I believe birth is just as much about a journey into motherhood as it is about bringing a baby into the world. I want you to look back on your experience with a feeling of love and empowerment. Birthing is a natural process but can look different for everyone. My goal is to guide, inform, and advocate for you so that you can give birth in a way that feels right for you. Whether a home birth, surgical, hospital, and whether you prefer to use medications, interventions or go without. As your doula I will support you and your partner in your decisions. I will offer a gentle presence, give reassurance, help you to stay calm, and aid in dealing with any anxieties you or your partner may have. I will be there through labour providing the tools, knowledge, comfort measures, and extra hands you may require to achieve the positive birthing experience you deserve.
