We are matchmakers for groups. We set up group dates over drinks between two groups of three friends. Check out our 1-minute product demo at http://youtu. be /Nh_P6tdmUyoAfter a user signs up and invites two friends, we use the information from their signup form to identify some potential matches based on a few key characteristics, such as age and interests. We also add the users on Facebook to help us understand their personality a bit better, and match two groups from there. We eliminate the typical browse-and-message approach ubiquitous in online dating. Our users only have to fill out a 5-minute questionnaire, and we do the rest (matchmaking, scheduling, venue selection). Once two compatible groups are found, each will receive a notification to confirm the date, and to prepay for the first round of drinks (to make sure everyone shows up).  The group dynamic creates a more casual environment where friends are able to rely on each other to keep the conversation going.
