Here are the events coming up in January: Usui Reiki level 1 January 27, 2019. 10am-5pm Cost for this class is $125.00 which includes: instruction, practise time, manual, certificate and after course care and support. Reiki level 1 is the self care level, learning about what Reiki is, and about ourselves. Giving us tools to balance our own bodies and mind and also those around us.... A new year is here. At Community Connections it is our goal for 2019 to be a year of growth, learning, sharing and embracing: Our community, our artisan vendors, our students and our customers. Our goal is also more artisan vendors, classes and events.

We will be closed until noon on January 2, 2019. Reiki sessions are still available while we are closed. Call 780-878-8151 to book an appointment. A special thank you to all who have supported us in the past four months that we have been open. Wishing one and all a wonderous and Happy New Year!

Do you have a neighbor, a couple, small family or senior that might enjoy a christmas dinner followed by fun and games? Please let us know. Transportation issues, no problem we can pick them up. Allergies, we can cater to most allergies so please let us know. Don't think there income fits requirements - there are no requirements :) But I have kids, thats great I have kids as well!... Christmas can be a wonderful, magical time of year, but it can also be hectic and stressful. Everyone has issues in their lives that stress them out, issues they are working through, pressures from within and from the outside. All of these feelings can be made even more pronounced when we add in grief, and hardships. Today at Community Connections we are honoring those feelings. Come in before 6:00 p.m. and light a candle in memory of a loved one who is no longer with you or who you are missing.

Do you need some last minute gifts? Some stocking stuffers? Some crystals, self care products or Reikl gift certificates? We are here to help you. Open today 12-6 and saturday 10-6.

Another very successful paint night was held by Sandra Zacker at Community Connections. A variety of amazing "Grinch" painting went home with their creators.

Local vendor day! Come down to Community Connections, christmas shop while supporting local. Also check out the christmas elves buy it by donation area. We are open till 6pm and have fresh baked treats. Also check out the new pop up shop upstairs.

Saturday December 15th, 10 a.m to 6 p.m is a vendor day. Come and see what our vendors have brought for your shopping pleasure. Join us for coffee, tea and holiday treats. Door prizes and so much more. Come check out our New Sarepta Christmas Elves section, all purchases from this section are by donation only, all funds go to the PJ's program.

Today and tomorrow drop in to Community Connections, refreshing our souls to make a christmas ornament and do some shopping. Dont forget we also have our buy it by donation area with all proceeds going to buy pjs for every child whose family recives a hamper this year.

What is Community Connections, Refreshing our souls? Well we are a place for our community to come together and support one another in many ways.
First is through our local artisan store area. Second we rent out the space at low cost for classes, events and vendor days.
We also have our healing space. And the best part is that we also have a goal to bring our community together through fundraising and community events.
... We hope that as we support our community that our community will also support us.

And last but not least please let us know if you or anyone you know might be without a big family Christmas and would like to join us for Community Christmas Dec 25th. If you would like to help, we very much welcome help in a few ways. Small gifts for all ages as we have children all the way to seniors. Hot chocolate, a ham, cookies, squares, premade side dishes, salad dressing, old gravy boats, old crystal serving dishs, napkins, candles, table center pieces, anything to help make a wonderful community Christmas. We are proud to be a local artisan store and with every purchase you are supporting local Women. We are also proud to support our community, we have a buy it by donation area and all proceeds go to the local Christmas elves.

Yesterday you may have seen us at the craft show soliciting donations for a silent auction for the Christmas Elves pjs for every child project. We are so blessed to be a part of this along with the New Sarepta Market (store) and everyone in our amazing community. Every year everyone comes together to ensure no child goes without at christmas. Last night we had Sandra Zacker and some lovely ladies come to do a paint night. When Done Sandra donated her beautiful horse to the Elves Auction. It is so heart warming to see your community building even more connections through our space. Thank you
