Expensive place to buy staple foods but staff very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Clientele are interesting.

Staff are always helpful and pleasant when we are in there. Love that we can find the majority of products that we use regularly and that there is someone in the store who can help me with any questions regarding products when I need to ask some things.

It's my first time there today.
I was planning to buy some Giddy Yoyo chocolate (17 packs of them).
When I got to the cashier's, a very polite young staff (Will) told me I could save 10% if I buy a box of 24 packs doesn't matter the combinations (76%-100% dark chocolate of my choice). So went ahead and got a box.

It's a health foods store and sells a variety of organic, eco-friendly and more ethical brands (though they do carry Eden Organic, a brand whose practices and beliefs I personally disagree with). As to be expected, it's not the cheapest place to do your shopping but overall it is a good place to shop.

This is my absolute favorite store chain in Calgary. I love having dinner at the downtown location, the cafeteria is wonderful with lots of variety! I also love the products sold in the stores and have a clear conscience when buying them! Highly recommend

We recently heard that Whole Foods had decided not to come to Calgary due to too much competition. I'm convinced that Community Natural Foods is the reason for this. This store is a fantastic source for high quality organic and natural produce/products! This store actually has better quality organic produce, and a much wider variety of organic/health products than you can find in most stores in the Vancouver area at this price point.Calgary has Vancouver beat for organic/healthy foods.

Love getting my zero-waste dry bulk here because they are able to remove a tare weight from my jars and bags! I also buy Avalon milk in a glass bottle here and return it to be reused.
Helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful fruits and vegetables.
I only wish they had liquid bulk options. Such as oil, shampoo, dish soap.
