What a truly amazing, graceful, welcoming place. There is a quiet, peaceful feeling within the walls of this house, women from all walks of life come together on a journey to fight cancer! And of course without Sayler at the helm of this ship, I always call her the captain and she is what makes this house what it is. Always welcoming, upbeat , smiling and easy to talk to and eager to help out anyone! There is no one more perfect for this job than Sayler Reins, a God Sent for heaven. I am so grateful for this house and the services provided , especially the shuttle van services, again truly grateful, it takes so much stress of a person. Also the house provides so many in house services from yoga, to personal trainers, to people coming to volunteer to cook for the ladies! I do not know of a place more special than Sorrentino's Compassion House! For anyone who is fighting this battle and are in Edmonton and need a place to stay, please check this place out!

The name says it all! The staff treated me with nothing but kindness and Compassion, and my fellow housemates were like sisters! Lots of laughing and sometimes, tears, while we visited in the heart of the House- the kitchen. I got through the most difficult time in my life with the help of everyone, staff and friends at Compassion House and I will be forever grateful!

Just went on a tour with my grandmother who is staying here during her treatment. This is a fabulous place that made my family feel safe about have grandma alone in the city! Everyone is so friendly and the inside is beautiful!

I stayed at the house from January 2nd until February 2 of this year. The house is clean, friendly and was truly my home away from home. Great staff and volunteers add to the charm. Shuttle service to and from the house and the Cross made life so much more easier, being from away. I have made what I hope are lifetime friends and found that my fears were unfounded as this house was able to give me the freedom and independence I needed while having the ability to still be social. With our tightened budget, this haven was a savior for us! Thank you so much to Sorrentino's Compassion House!

I stayed at compassion house from April 21st to May 20th. I am so glad I had the pleasure of staying there. The staff and shuttle drivers were all so friendly and helpful with anything and everything. I made connections with people I still keep in touch with. I also felt very at home, we’re all there for the same reason. We could hang out in our pjs all day if we wanted to. There’s a lot to do there also if you wanted to such as crafts, puzzles, games, computers, work out room, big cozy tv room, too many things to mention. I recommend Compassion House if anyone needs a place to stay. I’d also like to say to whoever reads this at the house please say Hi to Julie for me and tell her I saw a photo of her at the fashion show and tell her she looked absolutely beautiful. Nov5/17

I can’t say enough about this beautiful facility! This was my mom’s “home away from home” for her treatments and the girls there were awesome. Thank you Melanie & Sayler, for your kindness & caring! Also thanks to the other guests who looked out for Mom during her stay.

CH makes staying in the city so far away from home so comfortable and pleasant - plus all the sharing of support from the CH "family" while staying there- it's well thought out and meets our needs- thank you CH!

At Sorrentinos Compassionate house there are only friends and family a person has not met yet.

I am so looking forward to visiting this summer and don't forget Sayler we will be bringing the 1930 Model A in so we can go for a spin.

Thanks for the Home Away from Home

A place where women can stay during their treatments for breast cancer. Where you can be yourself and not worry what others will think when they look at you because we have all walked the same path and understand the struggle to beat Cancer.
