Concertsocks

ConcertSocks has been pursuing adventure and capturing moments since first learning film photography in the late ‘90s. Switching to digital and attending Mount Royal University in the 2010s allowed him the medium to hone his signature style of bright, vibrant colours, low light, and large stage productions. Best known for his work on the North American festival circuit, ConcertSocks has played key roles on media teams at mainstay Western Canadian events such as Shambhala, Bass Coast, Astral Harvest, FozzyFest, AEMCON, and Circle Carnival. His work has also brought him to international events such as Envision Music and Arts Festival and Bamboo Bass, where he has photographed many artists, stages, attendees, and unforgettable moments. Elevating himself to Media Coordinator at festivals such as Vibrant, ConcertSocks has amassed experience both behind the lens and from an organizer's perspective. Located in Calgary, Alberta, ConcertSocks has established himself as the premiere Alberta photographer for several Shambhala alumni, such as Fort Knox 5, The Funk Hunters, and SkiiTour. During 2020, he evolved his craft to take on graphic and video work for artists such as these to boost production value for "at home" Twitch streams. 2021 will find ConcertSocks continuing to perfect his photography craft, continuing experimentation with video, and sharpening Twitch livestream productions for artists far and wide.
