Our second class will be a Kids Macaron Baking Class running on Friday, October 5th from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Ages 6 and up are welcome for this class. Learn to bake your own #Macarons right from scratch! What a great place for dessert and coffee with friends! All 4 of us loved our dessert. The cheesecake was light and flavourful and the caramel popcorn topping was perfect. The lemoncake icing was the best I’ve ever had. Coffee was scrumptious!

Went in last night thinking I would get something quick to take home and instantly got sucked in to the great atmosphere. Stayed for coffee and cake and we were so impressed awesome cake and coffee and awesome people...such a great vibe in this place ! so happy this place opened up in st Albert and LOVE the hours we will be back<3

We love the cake at Confections and the staff are so friendly and welcoming! I’m shocked at the negative reviews. Too many local businesses are shutting down and cyber bullying isn’t okay! Let’s support and collaborate rather than knock people down. There is room for more than one cake shop in St. Albert ! We love it here and will continue to come back.

Tried Confections for the first time today and it was great. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have a good experience. The latte, caramel popcorn, and macarons were delicious, you can tell the caramel popcorn and macarons were homemade! Will definitely go back to try their other desserts :)

This is my new favorite spot in our community! The cakes are absolutely divine and the owners are so sweet! They’ve created a really nice and relaxing atmosphere and are supporting local artists. My hubs recently brought home the cheesecake for my birthday and it was the best cheesecake we have ever had! The macarons are better than anywhere we have tried!



I also took the macaron making class with Brittney and it was an amazing experience! I highly recommend her classes!

This is a gorgeous venue to enjoy dessert, drink and live entertainment. The cheese cake is scrumptious. I also ordered a a cake last minute and it was beautiful and moist and delicious - you can even plan ahead though and get a spectacular creation. The owners are so talented, innovative and fun. For those of you reading this and wondering if you will enjoy this one-of-a-kind dessert bar-you will. You should check it out right away.

The owner, Brittany is such an amazing person and an absolutely amazing and talented Baker! She did the cake for my wedding 4 years ago that was absolutely breathtaking, and I had SO many people come tell me that it was the best wedding cake they have ever had. And then recently I recommend her services to a family member who hired her for their wedding cake and it was just as amazing as mine!!! I'm so glad I got to have another of her fabulous cakes � On top of all that, she is one of the most hardworking people I know and her shop/cafe is absolutely amazing and beautiful. I think you'd be silly to go with anyone else for your baking needs �

The desserts are not only amazing but so is the amazing atmosphere in this dessert bar. They offer great dessert choices and alcoholic beverages which make it a great place for an after dinner evening! Brittany has done many custom cakes for me from my wedding cake to my baby shower cake, she can pretty much do it all and they always taste spectacular. This is a great local shop owned and operated by two great people �

Rustic meets classy in this charming bakery! It’s a must visit destination. Beautiful desserts to eat and local art to look at and buy if you want to. Custom cakes too! This shop has got it all!

Picked up dessert to eat at home and it was the best cheesecake we’ve ever had. My daughter loved her macaroons. My daughter then requested “rainbow” macaroons for her birthday. I contacted them to ask about ordering and they were more then happy to do them. When I went to pick them up the gentleman was very friendly and said they had fun making them.

Incredibly relaxing spot to enjoy a latte and a fabulous slice of cheese cake. Next time I'm trying the Baked Alaskan. The two tables beside me ordered it and it looked amazing. The decor is incredible . Beautiful art and I love the custom made furniture. I'll be back!

I love this place! I've been anxiously awaiting a dessert bar to open and finally here it is! Their Owner/Pastry Chef Brittany is so creative and has come up with a fantastic menu for all to enjoy. Her and her partner are adding a much needed place to gather, spend time with friends, and of course work your way through the menu. I think there's only 2 things I haven't tried yet!



Not only have they put together a great menu but the space is gorgeous! Local art all over the place, handcrafted wooden tables, chairs, bar area and more also by a local artist. The owners have really thought about what they wanted in their dessert bar and have made it a reality. They are not just involved in the local art community but their space is really supporting it!



It's my go to place and I've been taking everyone I know there - which means that I of course get to eat there more often!

Confections Cake Co.’s work is unbelievable - just like those crazy cake shows you see on TV, and a local business you can feel proud supporting. The cake’s delicious (as in, I’d never had cake this good before, grocery store cakes don’t cut it for me anymore ��), not to mention beautiful! They’ll take your ideas and use their vision & skill to create a unique masterpiece that’s going to make you litter your social media with pictures showing it off. Not gonna lie, a friend had one made of me as Connor McDavid on it, and i looked good �

Beautiful shop with lovely owners, desserts, art, and ambiance!! If you need a cake for a special event this is the spot. They also do slices, cookies, French macarons, everything. Can't wait to go back for more.

At last a dessert spot right downtown! The place is gorgeous, showcasing local artists, and the owners are young, creative and talented business people. The menu includes savoury items, decadent desserts (macarons, cheese cake, and so much more) plus specialty coffee ... This is a dream come true.

After begging my boyfriend for days to come along with me to try this place out, he finally caved. We went in between a walk for a treat and we both absolutely loved it. We tried the creme brûlée (my favourite dessert of all time) and the macarons and they were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is amazing too. Needless to say, I’ll never have to beg my boyfriend to come back here with me! �

We’ve stopped in on more than one business day , only to be told that other that macarons, there was nothing available to purchase unless we were sitting down and staying.

Im not sure if supply/demand is still being worked out?......

Last purchase- our macarons were raw in the middle & we had purchased them for a function ...... very embarrassing and totally frustrating since we could do nothing about it once we had arrived.
