Owner and entrepreneur, Shana Nicholls is thrilled to introduce you to Whispers Equine Learning Ltd. (W. E. L. L. ) an innovative new service designed to develop COMMUNICATION, LEADERSHIP, PROBLEM SOLVING, TEAMWORK, and so much more. . . using horses as teachers!
We've shifted the paradigm of effective skill building by taking it out of the classroom, creating a self-driven, experiential learning environment and utilizing the natural and consistent instincts of the horse as a barometer for human nature.
Shana combines her extensive background with horses and over 15 years of human relations experience to create a profoundly effective program based on Equine Assisted Learning. Eager to extend the value of this service, Shana now offers W. E. L. L. to Central Alberta!
Within the program, clients complete objective-based exercises, using a horse as one of their teammates (not mounted. ) The exercises are laid out with simple instructions and participants work through them in a self-driven format. Facilitators ensure creative thinking and parallel the experiences back to everyday situations. Throughout the exercises, the horses respond to the stimulus of the group and cause participants to identify and modify their behavior. Programs range from half day to three day formats and can be customized for your immediate and future skill development.
