Connaught Off-Leash Park

Nice to have a fenced-in, off leash dog park downtown. It is however very small and some neighbours obviously get annoyed with dogs barking. Grass is basically nonexistent after one year or so of being trampled..

We love that there is a smaller park exclusive for dogs under 20 pounds. When the big park is full of big dogs, this is the perfect place for our tiny furry ones to run freely without being hit or hurt accidentally. People are generally nice and I have never had a problem with aggressive dogs or careless owners

Smaller park but good setup. Good amount of seating, water and trash receptacle located just outside gate. Many dogs in the neighborhood. Coffee shops nearby.

The park is quite small and if your dog likes open space (regardless if it is a small dog), this is not the place for it to run around. The main area is mostly dirt and concrete and has a few ledges and benches to sit and watch your dog. On a hot day, you can really smell the unpleasant odours of the dog park.

The park is well fenced and if your dog is social, this place would give it a good chance to network. There is also a nice separate small-dog enclosure for use which yields the only grassy area of the park. It's also nice to have the water fountain available for your dog as well.

As previously mentioned - if your dog likes to run around a lot, roam free and explore - consider Riverpark or other nearby offleash parks. Also, this place can easily get crowded and it seems like owners are often busy checking their phones rather than supervising their dogs.

Ok place to let your dog off leash in the middle of the city. Can get very dusty. There is a ledge that can seem slippery, I wouldn't be surprised if a dog could fall off. If it's busy it can get too crowded. There is a small area for puppies that was nice.

Small inner city dog park. Usually busy in a small space. Can be muddy, friendly people and generally well behaved dogs.

Awesome little off leash, fenced in park. Not appropriate for big dogs but a great place for the littles to get some socializing in. We go daily and everyone is really friendly. It's clean and has a water fountain for your thirsty pup as well.

Perfect urban dog park! Do be careful if you're in the area for smaller-dogs, there is just one gate barring the area that makes way for little escape artists when another owner exits without hindsight.

This dog park is fantastic. It's in the inner city and so convenient for owners. It's fenced off so dogs can't escape. It has a separate entrance area so you can safely take off or put on the leash, it also has a separate small dog off leash area. It's very popular for owners so it's a great way to socialize young dogs.
